obviously the portrait was there first, but the dude could have done a much better job working into the tree.

I thought it looked pretty clean. I don't think he should fade it in because it would take away from the detail and context of his sons face.

I think once the tree fades a little, it will look better. One tattoo is old while the other is brand new making it look a little weird. It will probably blend itself in within a month or two.
