"If it ain't broke, don't fix it."
This was the theme last month during our streak. With the 3 recent losses, how do you feel now? A legit backup center is a real area of concern and the potential for Bogut to miss significant games at crucial times is higher than ever.
Iguodala and Lee will not come close to matching the value of their contracts. Are there still people that want to keep them off the trade block? Really?
We're in danger of losing our overall #1 seed which is the biggest advantage in the NBA. We're in a win now mode and our window of opportunity is only open for so long with this squad... should we still stand pat?

I recommend panic. Climb big buildings, jump. Stockpile food in basements. Wear tinfoil hats to ensure the CIA isn't intercepting your valuable brainwaves. Kill a virgin calf and cover your doorway with its blood. Ensure your loved ones are not vaccinated by the government and their mind-controlling toxins. And by all means, please ignore that we still have the best record in the NBA by a full game.

Both games just snowballed on the road. Not a big deal.

If the past 2 games are any indication, we won't win a game for the rest of the season.
Screw the #1 seed, I'm worried about making the playoffs here.

A mod that's trying to troll

You're not very good though

Staying on topic, I don't suggest we move any of our young core players, but Iggy and Lee should definitely be available if we get a call for them.

There's no trade out there that would instantly hold onto the seed though.....you're are just spewing for the sake of it.
Who is Lee and Iguodala realistically gonna go to? The new players coming in will be an instant improvement? Doing deals from a panic standpoint is how you really ruin a good thing.
Preseason after missing out on Kevin Love, most of you crybabies wouldn't have predicted we'd be the number one seed at this point....so why don't you just enjoy it.
To me, it was a road trip that was fraught with to many distractions. Having family around sounds great, but really you can't focus on work when you're being distracted with things like, "Have you seen the hair dryer?"

Re: "If it ain't broke, don't fix it."
With their recent resumes, Lee and Iguoodala (All-star, All-NBA Defense) have value and could bring in a rim protector that can rebound in the event that Bogut misses more time than anticipated or even time in the playoffs.
Ezeli is NOT the answer this season in where we are in the rare circumstance of being a true title contender.

Ok.....who?
And be realistic....don't just throw out names like Hibbert....because you have no idea that we could get Hibbert or anyone of that caliber......and those teams would have to eat 15 mil in Lee and 12+mil from Iggy......so let's hear what you got.

No FullSquad at all yet, that should help things
if it ever happens....
FWIW if there was a trade that got us two decent bench players for Lee, I'd do it
Depth is important

Re: "If it ain't broke, don't fix it."
It would obviously have to be a packaged trade to move either.
My argument here isn't who we should get, it's that it doesn't make sense for us to just stand pat while other teams have been making moves and are quickly gaining ground. We're not a lock for the #1 seed despite being in first place. Rebounding and rim protection has been a problem obviously.

Re: "If it ain't broke, don't fix it."
Kuya i've been on the "we can use improvements" side for a while even throughout our streak. I know others on here have been strong advocates of letting this team see the whole season through with our current roster and i get that too.
All I have to say in favor of getting more interior help, making some sort of trade (doesn't have to be iggy or lee) is that the past two post seasons our team was without either Bogut or David Lee. Do we want to go another postseason with the possibility of not having one of them again?

I won't say were broken because we're not, but my main concerns are our big men health and turnovers.

Re: "If it ain't broke, don't fix it."
Personally I consider trolling to have the same repetitive narrative through every game thread, culminating with a told-ya-so thread as we are the #1 seed asking to trade our best glue guy and a fresh-off injury former starter
Just my opinion though, and it's my right to have it: this is a thread for reactionary posting from fans who expect the best team in the league to never have a bad stretch. In a word: ridiculous. Worse than people griping about Rush's player option. But some people gotta find the downside

Trolling is trying to derail the thread with excessive sarcasm. And coming from a mod though?
It could also be trolling to say Iguodala is our best glue guy

You keep saying we're the #1 seed, but I keep saying that spot is in danger because without a capable center... it is.

Obviously the Warriors would do things to improve the team if they could....if a deal is out there that is possible and doesn't totally ruin the chemistry, then of course they do it. They know what's needed...you guys need to understand it ain't so easy.
Every team in the League has to deal with injured guys...it's a juggling act. Having really good health throughout an entire season is tough....I totally get the frustration, but whining over moves they didn't do, or some magical deal that's out there just seems stupid.

I know teams deal with injuries and it isn't easy to find ideal trades. All I said when starting this thread, is ask if should we really stand pat and not engage in trade conversations for mainly, Lee and Iguodala.
I wasn't upset we haven't traded them, i'm just asking if we should just stand pat and idly wait/hope we are all systems go and at least have 1st round home court advantage.

So propose something realistic? Stop whining.
And Iguodalas a glue guy.....he is. So is Draymond, and so is Curry. You can base your judgements on his points per game and missing free throws, but the guy does stuff you must not be seeing. He gets his hands on so many balls and he changes shots. He is part of the reason we are the number one seed right now.
Lee could be argued against that right now based on the fact that we got to thAt point prior to him stepping on the court. But even that isn't allowing him a chance to even get in shape. Plus he's only played 18 or so minutes in each game. Not really the reason we lost.
If you wanna point to the reason we've stumbled is obviously the loss of Bogut, but also the defensive edge we were playing with. Kerr and the coaching staff have a reason to get on the team again....the trip was embarrassing and it should help to refocus things a bit.

Have you seen Iguodala play this year? He makes way more bad plays than positive ones.
Also lol at whining, did you even read my posts regarding starting this thread? I didn't say I have the answer for us retooling, just that we should be proactively seeing what we would get in return in a trade.

Re: "If it ain't broke, don't fix it."
Ok Kuya...fair enough.
Of course we should always look to improve. I personally would like to add without much subtraction. That's why I personally would push for Ray Allen and Jermaine Oneal. Those are two veteran adds in areas of need without subtracting more than a roster spot.
I also would look into Kevin Garnett. If it took Lee to get it done, I would do it. Solely based on toughness and defense. Championship pedigree.
But bottom line is that Bob Myers is not sitting on his hands.....I'd bet you they are working hard to find some help.
