Bulls V Warriors 27/01 - Star Wars Themed

Thread 2 of my Movie Character Themed GT's. This time around we have a Star Wars based theme against the Evil, and very Ugly Chicago Bulls.

Image

By the way, this was hard............LOL

PG - Stephen Curry
Image
I thought about making Steph a young Luke Skywalker, but who else could play Yoda? He's pint sized, quick, agile, bad ass and when he's 900 years old, Steph will still be playing ball like a master.

SG - Klay Thompson
Image
Klay, I'll put as the young Anakin Skywalker from Attack of the Clones, before he becomes a petulant brat and gets his ass handed to him by Obi-Wan. Full of talent, promise and ability.

SF - Harrison Barnes
Image
Barnsey is kinda a central figure, but not that talented really with no real "Jedi like" skills. He has a good shot, like Lando with the fricken lazer, and comes accross as a smooth operator.

PF - Draymond Green
Image
For Dray, I've gone with Han Solo. Doesn't possess any real powers, he never would amount to much, but just gets it all done with style. He formed a great 1-2 punch with..........

C - Andrew Bogut
Image
A perfect casting for Bogut. Chewbacca probably smells better than Andrew anyway.

B1 - Andre Iguodala
Image
2nd movie themed GT, 2nd like-for-like reference for Iggy with Samuel L Jackson. Seemed to be a good fit, another bad-ass character for Iggy.

B2 - David Lee
Image
Older, and way past his prime, but a mentor to the younger guys, Lee takes the title of "Old Ben" Kenobi. He was once the leader, but now, not so much. Can still battle well, but won't get you the W by himself.

B3 - Marreese Speights
Image
Nuff said.

B4 - Shaun Livingston
Image
The current player that divides opinions around here, much like Jar Jar Binks. Long, athletic, but with questionable abilities, both have sported a nice set of dreadlocks in their days. Still a loyal dude.

B5 - Justin Holiday
Image
Young, energetic, and quietly cunning, Holiday and Wicket are the cute, feel good stories of the Warriors and Star Wars stories.

B6 - Leandro Barbosa
Image
A useful robot, like Leandro, but only needed very sparingly. He remains a loyal soldier and is always ready when called upon.

B7 - James Michael McAdoo
Image
Young, ambitious with hidden talent, McAdoo like Princess Leia comes from a famous family and both have solid hair do's. Will Mac live up to his family's reputation?

B8 - Ognjen Kuzmic
Image
Mainly there for comedic value. Has no real skills, other than speaking other language/s.

It's time to hand those Pesky Bulls a big time loss with some swag.

GG
Spoiler:
Only 1 choice.

BUT, Carrie Fischer never really did it for me, so lets go with hotter versions of THAT costume.

Mo Speights will be upset that he's represented by a pic of ex-GSW player...Felton Spencer.

Bulls fan here. Awesome game thread. Does this mean that Klay Thomson will come to the dark side and play for the Bulls in the near future? :D

Anyway, the Bulls have been up and down all season, but I feel like our starting big men of Noah and Gasol will get lit up by your stretch 4s. IMHO Han Solo was the MVP of the Star Wars franchise and he might be the MVP tonight. I'd feel more confident if we had Gibson and Noah starting. Gibson can do a better job guarding Green than Noah.

Without Han, Luke gets killed in Episode IV on the Death Star run. Clearly MVP.

lol, I was talking more about MVP in terms of being the character that makes the movies entertaining, but that works also. I think episodes 1, 2, and 3 really suffered from not having a Han Solo, Jack Sparrow like character. I was glad to hear that Han Solo and his son will be in episodes 7, 8, and 9.

Supporting character, does his job and is contributing to our overall success.
