Wouldn’t want to dish out more than the min though.

Not bad. He could be that second unit guy that does all the right things...nothing fance. Stabilize is a good word...just bridge first and second unit.

Just listened to Bob Myers. The injured exception is definitely in the mix.

yeah, I was listening too and was happy to hear they are ranking available free agents to pursue and won't stop at using the TPE. They are working to give the fans something to cheer about. We fans are lucky to have an ownership group who are committed to winning and spare no expense.

When I heard Bob say he was curious to how it could be used and what the parameters were, or let me know he was making plans.

They definitely have lists that he mentioned for each position. He said shooting guard wasn’t one of the lists they were thinking about until they found out about Klay.

Current roster

Curry-Bowman-Mannion
Wiggins-Poole-Mulder
Oubre-Lee-JTA
Green-Paschall-Smailagic
Wiseman-Chriss-Looney
+Klay

Guessing JTA gets cut, Mannion one of the TW, someone else should get the 2nd

That means one roster spot available only at that point

Did they not expand rosters and two ways? I thought we were going 17 spots with 4 two ways because of Covid concerns.

FWIW- JTA/Mulder/Bowman/Lee/Chriss all non-guaranteed

IMO Mulder/JTA/Bowman more likely to get cut

Forgot about COVID, this would be nice

The guys I'd really like to see the dubs go after:

M Gasol, Shaq Harrison & Elf Payton

If we could pay someone (OKC) to take Smiley, that’ll open up a roster spot. We cant afford to carry that dead weight unless he really improved over the offseason.

Naw, I'd rather give up on Mulder if we had to. But doesn't sound like we have to.

I think I'd rather have Elf Payton rather than Dunn, Payton's offensive game is a bit better.

Why are people ripping on Smiley so much? He's only a baby bird (albeit a big one), just learning to fly.

The victory cigar is one of the most underrated positions, I feel like smailey has the potential to be elite there.

Pending all is clear health wise with Rodney (didn't he get out injured of Lakers series?), i would sign up for this.

Does anyone know when the DPE is expected to be granted? Bob said they expect to hear soon but I'm curious what "soon" means. Today, at the start of FA? It'd be helpful if that were the case. 9.3 puts us in a great spot if we have it now-Serge, Gallo(I can dream.)

I wouldn’t mind going after Milsap with the DPE, although I’m not sure he would want to sign a contract for just one year.

Heard a rumor about the Warriors sniffing around a kid on the Wizards. 6’5” Garrison Matthews 41% from 3 in 18 games last season.

Just read he's a RFA. That'd complicate it, right?
