I second that.

He can get all the SF minutes he wants.

LAC fans were fighting to get him a run. But Rivers kept Bradley in until he got traded. Then Wallace showed what he was capable of.

He is ways ahead of what GSW got on roster.

He is legitamely a good young player. He played at Cal and was actually a 6-6 point gaurd, I was surprised he was not taken higher. The Clippers nabbed him and everytime I saw him he impressed me, has a good handle and a good off ball game. He plays mostly small forward now and I would rate him over the summer league guys hands down. I think he would beat GR3 and maybe McKinnie as well for starting SF.

One time my buddy tweeted Myers and the front office to grab a player, may have been Jack or Landry and they did shortly after. Might need to get in Bobs ear on this one.

Oh man, Tyronne Wallace is available? Agreed, he's better than what we have now (GR3 & McKinnie) though i'm not sure how significant, i think its enough to justify bringing him in. Really want to get a vet with playoff experience, but youngsters are enticing... especially a youngster who is better than what we already have.

We went from an aging roster last year to a pretty young roster right now with...

Smailagic Johnson- 18 yo
Swaggy Poole - 20 yo
MVP Looney - 23 yo (dont be jelly KD)
no D'Angelo - 23 yo
Grandmama Paschall - 23 yo
Evans III - 23 yo
Jones - 24 yo
GR3 - 25 yo
WCS - 25 yo
McKinnie - 26 yo
Draymond 29 yo
Klay - 29 yo
Curry - 31 yo

Maybe not this year -- may not be able to get a playoff seed, or at least not a high one, with Klay gone all year.

But I suspect by 2020-21 we'll be back and the cracks will be showing in the new superteams. One of the unsung things the Warriors did pretty well was keep the lid on a bunch of stars and keep them playing together. (Durant's crankiness could have been a lot worse.) LA and LA and Brooklyn are going to find it a bit harder than they think.

Will they have two big trade exceptions next year?

So they may be able to take some high salaries.

Curry is likeable. I'm a lebron fan but not a laker fan, not going to cheer for the clippers.. Raptors beat the warriors already, I wouldn't mind warriors upsetting Lakers or clippers.

Also, warriors will surprise a lot of people. They are being forgotten but have good talent remaining so long as curry and green stay healthy and klay can make a comeback in time. Kd and iggy will be missed but Russell and WCS are good pick ups, great coach plus continuity will go a long way. It's a 2 star league at the moment and Klay and curry are a great duo plus green.

I agree with you.

I personally think that some people are being naive on purpose, saying the Warriors are done. It gives them something new to talk about. When a franchise has a super star on their team, they are never done. If people are saying that they may not be a contender this year, I understand that sentiment. But those people saying the dynasty is over are being really goofy.

They'll have a tough time guarding top players like lebron or Kawhi like any other team but can still be a great regular season team. Then you hope you get lucky and avoid those teams and hope things go your way and anything can happen. Curry is one of the only superstars in the league along with kd Kawhi lebron imo. I'd put him below those guys though because they all can arguably defend above avg when they want but I'd put him ahead of harden, AD and slightly above Giannis until he proves he can shoot and have a face up game.

Yeah, a lot of people like to use the super star term, but like you said, there's really only a few I would consider to be a super star in the league.

In no order, super stars are players like KD, LeBron, Steph, Kawhi, AD, Harden, and maybe Giannis. Westbrook used to be a super star but he's declining to the point where his style is just so detrimental to being a championship contending team.

As for the Warriors, it is going to depend on what they are able to do to survive the grind of the regular season. If they are able to adapt because of the circumstance, maybe they do enough to stay afloat until Klay comes back. And maybe they get lucky in the buyout market, etc. If the Warriors are clicking by April with some good role players, I don't think any team would want to pay them in the first round.

Ryan Anderson just became available. Would be a great fit as a backup stretch forward. Wonder if we can fit him with our last vet min.

Already got 14+2-ways if Washburn and Lee stay

Curry/Evans/Poole
Russell/Burks/Lee
Thompson/Robinson/Washburn
Green/McKinnie/Paschall
Cauley-Stein/Looney/Smailagic/Jones

That looks like the team, I'd want Sefolosha to start til Klay comes back, but it feels like McKinnie will be the guy (I dont think he is a 3)

looks different now with Spellman

Evans not an NBA player, if we have to rely on him to run offense for any real stretch, we're in trouble

Evans will only play PG minutes during garbage time. If he can hit an open shot, however, I see him playing spot minutes next to Curry and Russell. He'll have to not be afraid on offense and show up on defense for it to work, though. I wouldn't write him off as a 10 MPG rotation piece just yet even though I'm also certainly not a fan of his. I doubt (hope) we're going to see many minutes without one of Curry or Russell. To the extent that it's necessary (e.g. when Curry takes a game off), I would expect to see Point-Dray for the most part.

I like our rotation of Guards (once Klay is back) and especially Bigs. Our rotation of bigs because it's intriguing. I'm not sure if it works out all that great but I like the options. Green backed up by two players who look up to him, have some (different) similarities and should try to soak in as much as they can from him – and maybe one pans out. Both have the chance to be solid shooters who play physical on both ends, which I like. Got a lot younger and control the costs for some time.

Then you have Looney, a favorite of mine who will contribute to winning and has still room to grow, in combination with his opposite, WCS, who has the athleticism and – to some extent – size over Looney but lacks his toughness and smarts. Yet both can switch which the Warriors seem to emphasize a bit more again when it comes to their bigs. We are lacking some size, strength – a bruiser – and do not have an elite rim protector at the 5; but you can't have everything in our situation. Maybe WCS can be pushed to start blocking shots again like he did at Kentucky. If someone can get him to toughen up it would be Draymond, although I realize that it's not all that likely.

I mean with everyone healthy and come playoff time the rotation it's going to be;

Curry-Russell
Russell-hopefully Burks
Thompson-McKinnie
Green-Looney/McKinnie
WCS-Looney

Basically 8 guys, I think Alec is your 8th best player (maybe even 7th tbh, not a McKinnie fan) but not sure he earns the minutes and trust

We'll see if McKinnie justifies that role. There's certainly a chance that Spellman, Robinson or even Paschall are ahead of him come playoff time. After the top 6 there's a chance for everybody to earn meaningful minutes and I like that fact (even though it leaves you with uncertainty, of course).

McKinnie isn't great at it either, but the other 2 there is no way

No, these two would be the back-up 4's. Don't think we'll see a lot of Looney there at all. Robinson has a chance to pass up McKinnie as the back-up 3 (or maybe Burks takes these minutes as well depending on who they are up against).

All I'm saying is that if one of these three guys outperform McKinnie, they'll find a way to give them meaningful minutes as back-ups. It's an open competition for who gets to play the most minutes behind Draymond and Klay.
