CaliWG wrote:An interesting trade idea, but it would have to wait until next summer: DLo for Brandon Ingram in a sign and trade. Both are young. Both would be on max rookie extensions. And both are borderline all-stars (Ingram has taken a huge step forward this year). Yet Russell doesn't necessarily fit alongside Steph, and Ingram plays the same position (theoretically) as Zion. So both teams would improve their overall roster balance. Ingram would fit in really nice at the SF spot for the Warriors next year, and he'd be a piece to build around post Steph & Klay.

I like Ingram on the Warriors but don't see how it could happen. The deadline has passed for an extension for him, he'll be a restricted FA next summer.

I'd like Ingram, however we can't do a s&t in the summer cause it would hard cap us again. Can't afford to be hard-capped if we're pushing for a title.

HOWEVER... we could trade for him now. Not sure why NO does it, but assuming they would, i'd be down.

D'Lo and Poole
for
Ingram, Moore, and Redick

If Redick can be sent to a 3rd team for some sort of asset, that asset goes to NO.

We need a wing who can defend and bring toughness to the team, guys like Covington would be a perfect fit. DLO is nice as a 3rd scoring option but we are dead last in defense and rebounding, scoring is the least of the concern right now.

Fine.

Curry/Biedrins for Bogut/Filler. Done and done.

Damn dude your sig! Lol and I love the Coxman.

If Isaac is on the table it's a no brainer from the Warriors side. But the writing is on the wall from the Magics standpoint as they are guaging interest in Gordon trades.

The NBA, which notes the hard cap violation.

(Though I think the Warriors could duck under it by cutting Chriss.)

But setting that aside, I'd probably do it, though I'm not sure that's the best we could get. I'm not an Isaac homer like many other people are......

 the sig

Now obviously, that was from when Currys ankles looked like Swiss cheese, Biedrins was having a vaginal breakdown and Boguts elbow looked like an incredible flailing tube man at a used car lot.

Solid gold, GQ hot dog stat padder.

Suck it up. Your GM skills were lacking lol

What's worse is that Bogues is an Aussie Homie, so the fact that you turned on him is sad. Haha

I’d probably do it. I like DLo and I’ve enjoyed watching him this year. But I’ll admit that I’m not sure how Steph/DLo fit long term. It may work out fine...it may not.

What’s weird is if Steph wasn’t on this team, I’d be thrilled to have a point guard like DLo in the fold for the foreseeable future.

As to who would say no...I’m not sure. I could see both sides not being “thrilled” with that trade. Isaac has been pretty untouchable in the Magic’s eyes...and I’m not sure the Warriors would want to trade DLo for a limited offensive player. Although(me personally) I really like Isaac’s upside.

I'd do it in a heart beat but the Magic would laugh at us.

Isaac is a stud, and they know it

This. Isaac is probably the only untouchable asset for the Magic unless they would get a bonafide superstar in return. And rightfully so, Isaac is a DPoY-type of player, the most versatile and disruptive defender in the league, with a very complementary offensive game.

Note: OKC would get a 2020 FRP from Minnesota in this trade.

This trade gives GSW two experienced wings and a backup PG. Ideally, Gallo would try take the role of Iggy by coming off the bench, he is an underrated playmaker.

Starters: Curry, Klay, Covington, Green, Looney
Bench: Napier, Burks, Gallo, Paschall, WCS
Death lineup: Curry, Klay, Gallo, Covington, Green

I've wanted Aaron Gordon+Ross from the Magic for DLO, if we had to trade him, for a while but with the emergence of Paschall, I'm actually cold on the idea.

Getting Roco then hopefully Wiseman makes a ton of sense. Instead of Wiseman, I am not sure if there is any other offensively gifted big available. So I think RoCo+ offensively gifted center(who is not a liability on defense) should be plan A.
Curry+Klay+RoCo+Green+Wiseman
Curry+Klay+Paschall+Green+Looney
Curry+Klay+Paschall+RoCo+Wiseman
Curry+Klay+Paschall+RoCo+Looney
are all very solid lineups both offensively and defensively and both EP and RoCo can play 3-4.

WCS to Magic for 2024 2nd rd pick? Or are we aiming for 2020 2nd? Don't wanna ask for too much cause still want them to take our calls later in case we're dealing Dlo.
