This is embarrassing. The supposed #1 seed in the East look more like that 70+ loss 76ers team.

They have the second-most attempts, second-most makes and second best 3-point shooting percentage.
Some of their shooters got off in the first two rounds. Now Love is shooting well.

Playing like he did back in 2012 game 6 against the Celtics. Cavs have chemistry and playing peak level. The Warriors have yet to consistently play dominant. That means that Curry, Durant and Klay have to all be on. Klay has to have a big game 3 against the Spurs. Without Klay playing well, Warriors will be in big trouble against the Cavs.

Would much rather dare LeBron to shoot as opposed to the rest of the guys. Durant has the length to disrupt the shots of LeBrons kick out options like Korver, Smith, and Love depending on if we go big or small. McGee will play a big role because big rim protectors have always made LeBron uncomfortable. I think West at center lineups when LeBron is in will get torched, though I think he will do a good job on Frye. Guard LeBron one on one and don't sag off too much, let him beat you and disrupt the shooting rhythm of everyone else. Love can't guard anyone, Irving looks a little hampered based on shooting percentages, and nobody else wants to put the ball on the floor.
We have done it before with success, Igoudola is strong laterally and we play LeBron tight and we would funnel him into Bogut who is massive. Somehow Igoudolas back flares out and he can't even bend or crouch when on LeBron, we basically have him straight legged defending. We slide Draymond over and take away our best help defender. Bogut somehow gets injured as well so we lose our back line communication and rim protector. Its incredible what a series of bad things could happen.
The Mavs ran something similar when they played. Stevenson at the time was fantastic laterally as a defender and Kidd switching from defending guards to a forward was solid as well. This is where Thompson and Igoudola come in. Even Terry would get a few shots on LeBron because he was still the Jet and the Mavs didn't wanna concede the drive. If LeBron drove they had Chandler and Haywood who gave him problems. McGee will play the Chandler role and Zaza to a lesser extent. The Mavs switched Marion the longer defender onto Wade who was LeBrons bail out option, Marions length could distupt Wades shots. Durant will play the Marion role, his length will disrupt Smith, Korver, and Love depending on who is in.
LeBron is like Jason Kidd or Magic Johnson in that if you trap or double him your playing right into his hand. A guy like LeBron wants the double or trap, its his instinct to find the open man. LeBron is a much better in terms of floor vision than shooters touch, concede his shot over his pass. Guys like MJ and Kobe were instinctive scorers so the double and trap was never in favor for them. But Phil ran a triangle which is designed to punish the double team, neither was spectacular in terms of floor vision or passing but the triangle gave them structure to succeed against the double. Let LeBron try to beat you with tough 2's, thats not enough to beat our 3 point shooting or small ball that pushes Love off the court.

Klay does need to show up offensively but, He has upped his defense from last playoffs to this years playoffs. The Cavs look great and are playing great but you can't discount the level of talent they are playing against. Think of it like this. The Best Player on the Cavs is better than the best player on the Celtics. The 2nd Best player on the Cavs is better than the Best player on the Celtics. The third best player on the Cavs is better than the best player on the Celtics. The 4th Best Player on the Cavs has the soul of the 2nd best player on the Celtics locked away in a box. The best 3pt shooters on the Cavs are defensive Sieves they're unplayable against the Warriors unless they score every possession. The Cavs offense is predictable. The game could have been close had the Celtics hit their wide open shots. There is no Harrison Barnes for the Cavs to leave wide open and for Lebron to coast and patrol on defense. Steph is low-key the 2nd/3rd Best Performer in these playoffs and he hasn't gone full god mode yet. Also, I'm sure Steph doesn't like being slighted. The last player that slighted Steph before Bron and the Cavs was Westbrook and Steph crushed them in the ending minutes of game 6 and throughout game 7 He has been slighted the whole season since last finals. He can't be doubled team every possession now. The Warriors have defenders who know how to make things not so easy for Lebron.

Steph has come up small for last two finals. His legacy is on the line. Offense has to run through him. Cavs have figured out Steph on both sides of the ball. I think Curry is unbelievable but in the Finals he gets out physically played and turned into a one dimensional player. This is why Durant is so important cause he opens floor up. Curry has to win 2 games by scoring 30 to 40 points.
Thanks for blessing us with all 3 of your posts. Quite a treat. He has the TS record for 4th quarters in the finals they won. He was injured last finals. The cavs haven't figured out anything. They just did the only thing they could do which was be allowed by the league to hurt and bump him off ball, and double team him since they're willing for Barnes and Iggy to beat them instead of him going off. They don't have the option to double team him anymore. It's either play him 1v1 and hope he misses but even then, with his lateral movement back, he can easily get to the rim and either pass out once they collapse or shoot there. Just watch and see. I find the notion of him being a mental midget funny because it's a media created narrative.

The East is so garbage.
I don't even have to mention the Warriors. Even the Spurs, Rockets and a healthy Clippers team would give Cleveland trouble.

Uh, 2 of the 3 teams you named weren't healthy.
