how do you feel about this?

I think it's a jump to say he's cancelled. He's getting rightly condemned. It's very possible he'll get suspended, if not get cut. Mind you, the Heat owner is Israeli-American and it's not like Leonard is an indispensable piece for the Heat.

But even if he does get cut or disciplined in some significant way, I assure you he won't be "cancelled." The joke of all the cancel culture stuff that conservatives whip up a frenzy about is that the "cancelled" almost always have a very large platform and get an even bigger one after they say whatever abhorrent thing they said. So if Leonard gets cut, you can expect he'll have plenty of people on his side after an appearance on Tucker Carlson or a podcast with Ben Shapiro or Candace Owens.

As for his actions. Well, all he had to do was... not use a slur against Jews in a livestream. If my job required me to be good at basketball and also keep my public image clean by avoiding the use of offensive slurs against marginalized communities, I think it would be pretty easy for me to not go around calling people k*kes on a live stream of me playing a video game.

100% this.

1000% this.

THis is what I don't understand....at all.

Clippers having lost 4 of 5....destroy Warriors.
Lakers without AD ....having a losing record in their last 10...destroy the Warriors.
Wolves tonight...playing the Lakers even....

Not worth a bag of chips anymore.

This PJ Tucker trade is fascinating. HOU really didn't get anything? They converted a second into a first (but it's a Bucks first...) then traded their 2022 first (which belonged to the Bucks) for the Bucks 2023 first? Huh?

Seems like a paltry haul IMO.

Obviously the Warriors have no interest in Tucker lol

I envision him hitting big threes from the corner and helping Giannis win a game or two in the playoffs.

He’s going to magically start playing good again. Just wait. He’s still a solid vet.

He better, he's already 35. I would be surprised if he has more than 1-2 years left in the tank.

Clippers are said to be trying to trade for Lonzo. They shouldn't have many draft assets since they traded them in the PG13 trade.

So maybe expiring contracts if Pelicans are trying to save on the cap, by not signing Lonzo and getting expiring contracts?

They obviously have to go for it this year and playmaker is a big hole they have to fill.

However it would be highly annoying when Clippers don't have that much to trade and they're able to make a big trade while the Warriors remain pat.

I literally do not know what they can trade. Future firsts are off the table from what I understand and unless NO wants Terrence Mann or Luke Kennard, they have nothing to deal with. Unless Lonzo isn't signing an extension and it's a pure half year rental?

They have a bunch of 2nds from Detroit, but that's not hard to beat.
Kennard has a poison pill after signing that contract, and the Clippers are up against the hard cap which precludes taking back salary between the outgoing and incoming amounts, so he's not going anywhere. And let's be honest, who gives you value for a guy you were just given nontrivial draft compensation to take on in the first place?
This will almost certainly require a 3rd team...one that considers Beverley or Williams to be positive value for this year.

Lebron diagnosed with high ankle sprain, out indefinitely.

I can't recall the last time he was out more than a couple consecutive games.

They say out indefinitely and high ankle sprains could take weeks to heal, over a month in many cases.

However, you would expect them to say something like re-evaluate in x weeks if it was a long-term injury.

Maybe he takes a trip to Miami and comes back in a couple of games, not couple of weeks.

Our Poole boy is no Evans like most of us feared? And Curry's hand is okay from nerve damage.

Does not having to see Trump and his comments count?
