Boogie is going to keep getting better and mesh with the team more, but at the end of the day, it's all about Iguodala

Jokic, Adams and Goubert lurk in the West while Embuid Gasol will be trouble from the East.

Iggy is playing pretty well and has been an important player the last 20 games or so.
He has started 11 games, which is more than the number of games he started in the previous 4 seasons.
His 3P% is respectable so far.
If he has a good post season and they win the title again and are going for 4 straight next season, they're going to keep him for his last season.
Then a year from now, we'll probably be having the discussion on whether to extend him again.
But if they don't win and he is hobbled by injuries, then he may be a trade asset next year with a relatively big cap number for a role player.

Disagree. They'll keep him, no matter what.

I said may be.
They do tend to be loyal, maybe too loyal in some cases.
I think Iggy will try to earn another contract even after the current one runs out.
With the cap going up and the crazy money Chase Center is going to generate, he’s going to want another big pay day.
He could still be effective for a couple more years, barring health issues.
But if they had a chance to trade his expiring for a young wingshould they do it?
Like Atlanta will probably try to move Prince rather than extend him.

Well, Iguodala definitely won't get another big payday, in fact, I expect him to call it quits after next year. He'll be 36, he's got money, business interests, plus he really likes to play golf. Maybe some team would offer him a vet minimum but I can't see him being interested in just hanging around.

After another good game, Iggy said offhandedly said “last goround.”
Kerr said he’s in great shape, playing well.
It will be interesting to see what he says next season. Another chance at an NBA payday, he may say something different.

I think he will need to be persuaded to continue, he won’t be asking to be allowed to continue, and fair enough too, he is a member of the Hampton’s five crucial to GSW’s success, his injuries which detracted from him LeBron stopping in 2016 and Harden stopping in 2018 were significant imo in GSW losing a finals series in 2016 and going to a 7th game in a WCF series in 2018.

He's probably assuming the Warriors won't offer him another contract which pays anywhere near what he's getting on his current deal.
But there is probably a number at which he'd play again and he may think the Warriors won't come anywhere near it, given the team's payroll situation and the impending deals they will need to offer to Klay, KD and Draymond.
He probably has little interest in the salaries that Ginobli took at the end of his career, while still remaining a valuable rotation player for the Spurs as he approached 40 years of age.

Doesn’t he have a year left on his contract ?.

Yes. People are talking about what happens after that. My vote is that he'll call it quits.

With Iguodala, that could be anything. It may have been a comment about a store or show that was closing. Or maybe he was about to take a dump. I don't think I have ever seen one of his cryptic comments turn into anything basketball related.
