So the Warriors forum threads go back to 2008, over 11 years, out to page 404.

I browsed through some threads. For instance, the initial reactions to the idea of drafting Curry in 2009 -- in fact there was a lot of hype for Rubio:

Not too much enthusiasm there but people warm up once they see his Youtube clips:

Then in the second half of his rookie season, people start to come around. Curry had won rookie of the month at least twice. But by the end of his second season, 2009-10, nobody has an inkling that he'd be two-time MVP because in this thread, people are ready to make all kinds of trades involving Curry.

I wasn't around here back then myself but I won't claim I knew he'd be this great. I thought great knockdown shooter, which is what the Warriors needed, but never imagined him being all-NBA multiple times, three championships, hopefully more.

Then in 2011, Warriors draft Klay Thompson. Looks like this board favored Biyombo or Singleton. One or two mentions of Kawhi. But the general reaction was, good shooter but another guy who can't defend, so a bigger Curry.

I think the big trade and then the 2012 draft threads would be kind of fun to read too as well as the firing of Jackson.
