Much respect to the Warriors from a raps fan.

Post#1 » by S.W.A.N » Fri Jun 14, 2019 7:03 am

I'm sure there are some posts in the game thread, but as a raptors fan I just wanted to give props to the Golden State Warriors. Your team showed the heart and soul of a true champion. It is horrible the injuries that you guys got and I hope they all recover and come back even stronger.

No matter the future, this team has been a dynasty and should be remember as such.

Thanks Swan, enjoy your time in the sun while it lasts, your team earned it. I couldn’t root against the Dubs but the Raps are a hard team to dislike.

Raps fan here, Klay and KD were killing us all series lol we had no answer for them. As happy as we are right now, we gotta show your team respect for showing the heart they did. “Warriors” is the perfect definition of what your team is about. Good luck in the offseason guys!

There are a number of us who are Raptors' fans who are tipping our hats off to your team. The Warriors demonstrated the hearts of championships in fighting to the end despite gut-wrenching injuries to KD and Klay. You guys have every reason to be proud of your team.

Thanks guys. Congrats, just straight up ignore any asterisk BS and enjoy the chip! Toronto has a true team, they fought together and didn't flop/complain/whine, good defense, played basketball the right way.

Thanks guys. Both teams are big time vulnerable to just one FA signing...wild.

I predict we meet next year....if Kawhi signs back.

It's weird, the Warriors are the most likeable "super team", there really isn't anyone on that roster or coaching staff that I wish ill will towards.

Good luck to Klay and KD. Klay coming out of the tunnel to shoot his FT's was awesome.

Apologies for that 1% of idiots in our fanbase.

You guys are an awesome fanbase, one of the best in the league. I heard a radio interview after the series with raptors super fan Nav Bhatia, and it was incredible hearing him gush about the fans in Oracle. How welcoming they were, how nice they treated him. He can’t say that about every nba city he’s visited, as he was the subject of racist twitter taunts during this postseason. You guys are good ball fans, all the best next year enjoying your new arena. Y’all should be proud with how your team fought through adversity till the end.

Raptors were a solid team and hit big shots when they needed to. Hard to find guys with the balls to hit the big shots.

I feel cheated by injury this season, but have no shame in losing to the Raptors.

I don't want to start anything but I'm kinda curious how this guy feels about it.

I’m gonna assume you have some beef? So remind me about it again? Depending on the answer I could go either way and say that I have a lot of respect for some folks on the team and some fans, or I could trash talk if that’s what you want. You let me know which you would like and I’ll try to accommodate... no guarantees since you quoted me out of absolutely nowhere and this is the gsw board.

Warriors took out a full page ad congratulating Raps in Toronto newspapers today. Pretty damn cool. Much respect.

Love and Respect the Warrior players.

However I will admit that I do find Draymond quite annoying sometimes.
