You'd be ecstatic if we finished 20th in defense? I sure as **** would not. With Ron Adams, Draymond and some **** effort we should finish higher than that.

As weird as it sounds, I think this roster at its peak might be stronger offensively than when with KD - we're gonna have a few games where we absolutely light people up.

Our title hopes rest on Draymond's shoulders. If he can get this ragtag bunch to play top 10 defence, we can take any team in this league in 7.

Other than Klay, the biggest issue I'm seeing on defense is shot blocking from the middle.

Looney can block some shots and so will Draymond, but we don't have that guy in the middle who protects and has the back of guys getting blown by from the perimeter.

It's definitely something the roster lacks. As much as I can hope Willie provides some of that, I know that his resume points in the other direction and shot blocking is not his forte.

Poole has confidence for sure. I don’t know his game too well but if he can be a solid shooter/slasher off the bench that would be great.

The added weight has really helped him. He was already a smooth player...but now he has the NBA body to go with it.

I’m assuming Poole plays fewer minutes than Zion, too.

Poole doesn’t even come in until the 2nd quarter and still puts up significant stats.

Zion is averaging 27.2 minutes/game in 4 pre-season games to Poole's 22 minutes/game in just 2 games. Obviously Zion and Poole are in different tiers as players with drastically different expectations; the fact that Poole is even in this discussion is a testament to how well he has played. Clearly points will be much tougher to come by for him in the regular season, but he is impressing me with his play thus far - keep it up Jordan!

Like I've said in the past. If I were Jordan Poole, I would attach myself to Curry in every way possible.

As much as I like Poole's range and quick release, I don't think he squares up like Steph and Klay do. When you are not square you tend to beorw streaky with your shooting. We know Klay can be streaky, but when he's squared up, it's almost a layup.

Also like Jordans handles, but working out with Steph and doing the drills Steph does, should be something the kid does as well. Jordans handles are nowhere near Steph's, and I don't ever expect them to be. However, as a young player, imrpoving those handles will take him to a higher place.

I also like the Poole moves without the ball. And in our offense when he and Steph are on the floor together, I'd like to see Poole running the same action that Klay does off the ball.

I guess I’d be more ecstatic with the 15th end of that range, 20th would be acceptable, but I think we could be well below that too. We have an extremely inexperienced bench and outside of WCS we don’t have any length at all. Those are my main concerns.

Not to derail and not a Warrior's fan but I do think Giannis is a Warrior in 21-22. What he loses in Bucks money he'll makeup from Nike.

Why'd you put this in the Jordan Poole thread?

Tonight for the SCW, Poole went for 31 pts, shooting 11/23 fg, 5/10 3pt, 3/4 ft. Lets pretend we didn't see him suck in the regular season.
