Is anybody else loving this outcome?
Warriors have a chance to be the favorites again if they make the right moves in the summer of 2020. Don't get me wrong, I think they have the chance to compete this season, but what just occurred makes it's easier for the Warriors' dynasty to continue.
Also, it's funny seeing Raptor fans getting salty that their team is a year or two from being a lottery team. They probably thought they could have a dynasty.

Not necessarily loving it but I’m happy the Lakers didn’t get Kawhi and a minority but loud portion of Raptors fans just received karmic justice. Feel a bit for their good fans.
Anyways, I think Myers and the rest of management have tough decisions to make. An elite perimeter defender (and starter) will be needed to beat the Clippers.

I'm laughing at the fact that so many franchises just got screwed by Kawhi.

No, we couldn't defend any of the outcomes but now the Clips can defend us so ... yeah.
Watch the West kill themselves and the East win on injuries again.

Yes, two of the largest fan bases on RealGM got trolled in historic fashion.
This isn’t the worst outcome of the Kawhi sweepstakes for the Warriors but it probably is the 2nd worst. At this point, we take what we can get.

As a Warrior fan, I'm looking at the long game. Sure, it might look a little overwhelming this year, but I see good things happening by next summer.

Mch competition in da west but i like it
Is it possible to somehow acquire Marcus morris or sefolosha to match defensively kawhi and PG ?
I have full faith in Myers and Steve Kerr.
If Klay returns healthy , its pretty much up to Draymond if we continue to rule the West
Steph’s gonna Steph , but we need the old good aggresive hungry Draymond to do it again
Its gonna be a tough season and im very excited about that!

It's the logo's fault we have Jones and had McCaw.Senchu wrote:Lakers want Kawhi, PG - Clips get them.

Seriously though, West is great. But you'd have to be really incompetent not to make good things happen if you have a team in a big market. PG being tired of OKC was just great timing.

We wouldn't be favorites but with Wolverine Klay returning around the new year possibly, I think we can handle both LA teams.

I think so too, but we're one solid sf being bought out away from being legitimate championship favorites.nismolos wrote:We wouldn't be favorites but with Wolverine Klay returning around the new year possibly, I think we can handle both LA teams.

The SF that will elevate this team is Smailagic

Clippers just became a tougher match up for GS.
Still 2 stars vs 4 stars.
Prefer Leonard in the East .

Hot Take: Kawhi/PG will deal with as many health issues as LBJ/AD.Warriorfan wrote:Clippers just became a tougher match up for GS.

I have high hopes for Eric Paschall being able to match up against these elite forwards

Kawhi just lost Gasol, Pascal, Ibaka, Green, and Lowry. He's not going to have that size, defense, shooting, or passing in LA.
I'm happy he went to the Clippers. The Raptors were scary deep and versatile.
