I'm convinced there is more to this story. Bob Myers has something up his sleeve.

Well, he had to agree to it for the sign-and-trade to happen.

He might have agreed to it because it was perhaps his only way to get the 25% max contract. Seems teams were using cap space for other ideas. Those teams seriously interested, ie. Twolves, wanted to do a trade. The problem for those teams is the Nets did not want to take back any salary at all because of their desire to sign KD and Kyrie.

In the case of "trading" with the Warriors, the Nets were already taking on salary (KD), so that gave DLo a solid avenue to get his max contract.

Iguodala trade has been announced, so they are one step closer to the KD/DLo deal. Not sure what else the Nets need to do to clear cap space. They've already signed DeAndre, so I think they're close.

I wish I had something more auspicious to offer for my very first post here...

Danilo Gallinari

I'm not saying I want to see this happen. I'm just saying I could easily see it happening at some point.

Oh man I would love to get LeVert. He killed it for my fantasy team last year until the injury.

I'm actually looking forward to watching everyone over-scrutinizing other teams for a change. Let us build up again on the down low while the media's screaming about the BrookLaLa axis of evil and how they all Rocket each other when things don't go well.

Yeah. I'm in.

GS trades Russell and Jones for Adams, Covington, and SGA.

Minnesota trades Covington and Dieng for Westbrook and Jones.

OKC trades Westbrook, Adams, and SGA for Russell and Dieng.

Curry, Thompson, Covington, Green, Adams with SGA and Looney as the main bench pieces.

Dlo to the Heat for Dragic, Herro, and a 1st rounder.

really, plenty of moves for us to make here with Dlo, let's see if Myers can pull his own head out of his ass.

Drag is a good back up PG and an expiring, Herro is a sick prospect who fits what we do perfectly, and a 1st rounder to top it off.

For the life of me I can't figure out why certain fans are determined to trade away a versatile 23 yo All-Star guard. He has the ability and physical attributes to play both guard positions. He seems like the ideal Warriors player, multi-skilled, multi-dimensional players are the meat and potatoes of Kerr's system.

an exclusively PnR, ball-dominant, no-defense player is NOT the 'ideal warriors player'...wtf?
