WHAT IF

They allowed the class of 2020 to declare for the NBA Draft?? It's going to be held in October or November most likely.

I know it's not a full year after high school, but that would be amazing.

im over extending this season.

I know it's all about the money, but now it pushes next season past Christmas and most likely February or March start.

Well, they have to wait until the regular season is officially over, and they have games to play starting Aug 1. Aug 15 sounds about right.

that's why they should do away with the RS altogether, just go straight into the POs.

I've said that from the beginning, but...that's not happening.

Hey dudes, I’m Corey and I’ve been putting together draft videos for a bunch of the prospects. I’ve done 11 so far and I just finished my Haliburton video. With the news that the Warriors have him high on their board I thought I’d share it with you. He’s kind of perfect for you guys as he’d be an awesome fit with Steph, Klay, and Draymond.

My favorite part of that Haliburton scouting report is how every edit stayed long enough to see his teammates brick wide open shots haha

I really like him and could definitely see him in a role similar to Iguodala and Livingston on offense.

On defense, Id say more Livingston and less Iguodala.

If Haliburton wants to raise his stock, he should be working with a trainer all summer.

Juice up!

He’s got GSW written all over him. If he can develop a jumper he’ll be an all star for years.

Okoro is a less talented version of Josh Jackson. And we can sign Josh Jackson this offseason for the league minimum if we really want him. I don't trust wing players who can't shoot coming out of college, they've had their entire lives to learn and still haven't gotten it. Yes, there are some who figure it out in the NBA (Kawhi) but those guys are more the exception than the rule. I would much rather draft a guy like Aaron Nesmith who is an absolute knock down shooter and has the size & athleticism to become a good defender.

Yes! I’ll take Nesmith or Vassell over Okoro.

So, we've been saying the same thing for months ... best course is a trade down/out in this draft, and now we are still several months from the draft and the best course isn't going to change.

Was there optimism on Klay becoming a good or one of the better NBA defenders when he came up?

Too bad we won't know our lottery position for 2.5 months. Then after that we have 2 months to prepare.

When can teams start talking trades for draft? Once the season is officially over? Only on draft day?

Warriors knew they would have a top pick very early in the season and I wonder how many trips they went on scouting the top guys and 1st round potential guys.

I'd take a whole lot of players before Okoro. I'm sick and tired of the Warriors acquiring bum offensive players and not getting any criticism for it because they know Steph and Klay are going to carry them. Ideally you can get a two way player but at least get someone who can score. I'm sick of the defense getting away with triple teams and box and one on Steph because they don't respect anyone else on the court.
