It's nice to have a finisher again. There have been a ton of blown layups, missed put backs and dunk attempts etc.. It's nice to have another guy who can finish.

His defense looked good today. He actually played Lebron well and had 5 steals. Hopefully, Draymond and the rest of the Warriors force him to keep up this same energy.

Well Wiggins is better than Barnes. We just need 1 more player to fill the Iguodala slot.

Hello to everybody in this board.
I am former Wolves fan, but I will follow Wiggins and Warriors now.
I will try to not post a lot at the beginning, because it is obvious that you know more about your team.
I watched the game yesterday and I liked much Marquese Chriss. He has quick feet and vertical and that helps a lot in offense and defense for a center.
As about Wiggins I hope he will get more love here than in Minesota.
I think that he is a player who steps up in big time. When he is motivated he plays better and I think he will find a lot more motivation here.
In offense he can score with many ways, I think you already know it.
I think that it was a big lie that he is a bad defender. He has quick feet and he can stay in front of every wing. Although he is skinny he cannot be pushed, he is stronger than his frame says.
Another point that I would like to stay is that he was disrespected by referees in Minesota, something that didn't happen yesterday. He got treated fair yesterday and he went to the line.

So, I hope he fits well with Warriors and your system and players. He seems that he is happy to be there.

Admittedly I've been a Wiggins hater over the years. That said he clearly has a natural talent for the game and has elite athleticism. He's not a stiff like Harrison Barnes was. Not many players can drive to the rim the way he does with poor spacing. Maybe a change of culture for him is what he needed, hopefully he keeps that same fire when the big 3 get back. He genuinely looks like he wants to be here.

So many people sleeping on Wiggins is somewhat surprising to me considering the hot start he had early in the year. I'm rooting for Wiggs because he's always been seen in a negative light and has been trapped in that struggling MIN organization his entire career.

I'm excited to see what he can do with a good coaching, winning culture, proper court spacing, veteran mentorship and less pressure to perform. I can easily see him becoming a consistent 18/6/5 player with solid defensive utility. Maybe not worth the contract tied to him but I think he has a lot more value than the vast majority give him.

I think it was a good trade, if the team is healthy WCF should be doable.

If Wiggins was 7th pick making 18 mil we would be saying he was a steal and has room to get stronger and play better D through Adams

Hey guys, would you rather have Wiggins at his contract or Barnes at his current contract?

I think they both have like 3 years left, $90 million for Wiggins vs. maybe $70-80 million.

Wiggins and it's not particularly close. The data don't lie (in this case):

show Wiggins steady around -0.2 RAPM last two seasons, and Barnes around -1.0 RAPM.

And I think Wiggins has been playing better this year, so the gap may have widened.

Plus Wiggins is 3 years younger and is still at an age where improvement is likely. Barnes is in his prime season and likely isn't going up from here.

I was one person who went negative on the trade. He is a warrior now, and if he can reproduce the effort on D like he did his first game, and run the floor, I will try not to go full neg again. He has faster feet than I first thought. And put me in the camp of really happy about the players that left in this trade. He will be a better contributor than those 2. And still will try to hold myself to giving the Jurniors in the front office the end of next year to really see how this all is going to work out.

From my understanding the issue with Wiggins isn't his ability to play hard and have good games, its his ability to play hard and have good games consistently. I think by the end of the year we should have a good feel on what we got and how he fits.

I still remembered Brooke Lopez was hated by Warriors management and most GSW fans. He could be had for pennies, and yet he was hated.

No one said that anymore! He just needed good team culture.... And hopefully Wiggins will be in the same boat.
