Allen Iverson trade rumors to the Warriors in 2007.

Anyone remember the trade rumors of Iverson to GSW? It was around December 2006 and I believe it revolved around Baron Davis from GSW's side.

Obviously things came around and Baron helped lead the Warriors to that We Believe run. So good thing it didn't happen. Iverson and Monta would have been redundant if they end up trading J-Rich in the 2007 offseason like they eventually did.

So was there any weight to those rumors? Was it close to happening or just speculation? I still remember seeing it on the front page of RealGM back in the day.

I don’t remember those rumours to have much weight. That would have really sucked if it happened.
