How old do you see Steph playing until?

Steph is a free agent when he’s 34 years old.

I can see him signing a 3 year deal with us and finish off when he’s 37.

I could see Curry playing through his age 37 season, get that one year of playing time over his father, and then calling it a career.
I'm not going to say that Curry is God. But he is definitely a god. -NeoWarriors

Steph will hit a corner 3 for the 2035 Seattle Supersonics Ray Allen style to finish his career.

37 the earliest. His jump shot will always make him valuable.

Just depends on his health. If healthy he can play until 40 but depends on if he wants to retire earlier than that (while on top?) or not.

Also depends on the situation he's in. If he's around 37 and the Warriors are bottom feeders he'll feel like he did his time for the franchise and it would be a mutual decision that it's time for GSW to move on with rebuilding towards the future since they wouldn't want Steph to waste his last years on a bad team.

And from that point he can either retire with all his accomplishments or somehow part ways and help be a final piece for another franchise hoping to win a ring to end his career. I doubt he'd be labeled a ring chaser if this happens because he'd already accomplish so much. And if the Warriors are bad at that time, I feel like Warriors fans would want Steph to have a good last season of his career and would do him a favor for all he's done for us by sending him to a contending team for him to use his magic on one last time for NBA fans. Kinda like how I rooted for J-Rich to win with the Suns, and how I was happy that although GSW traded David Lee, they traded him to a great franchise in Boston.

However, if the Warriors are still competing for championships when Steph is 35+ I don't see him leaving. He'll retire with GSW.

I can see him playing until 37+, but not for the money, just because he loves the game so much and will feel a void removing himself from it (plus I'm sure he want to cement himself in the record books with more 3s and other stats).

If you're watching The Last Dance, Jordan was 34 and turned 35 in February of 1998, so half of the 97-98 season, he started all 82 games, averaged 28.7 PPG on 39 MPG, shot 46.5/23.8/78.4.

Those shooting numbers are all below his career averages but he took 23.1 FGAs per game.

Just note that Curry has averaged under 34 MPG in all 6 seasons under Kerr, so we will find out if all that rest makes a difference in his career. Last 3 seasons he's played 51, 69 and 5 games. His career FGAs is 17.1

Of course a big injury can blow away all those attempts to manage his minutes and usage.

So I'm pretty sure he's going to look for another 5 year deal at 34.

If Chase is selling out by that point and the Warriors are top seeds in the West, he's going to look for another max type of deal and as long as his performance doesn't decline, why not?

But can he continue to be special hitting those 3-point pull-ups with high efficiency well into his 30s? MJ probably was able to keep scoring with his post ups into his mid 30s, with high usage, not have to dribble as much and make those midrange pull-ups from earlier in his career.

Only way Steph would give a big discount is if they have some rising young star who was going to earn a max deal at some point soon. I don't think he and Lacob are that close.

The real answer is until his eye sight goes away. For some its around 40. Who knows what it'll be for Steph.

For a player like Steph, that shoots from such deep range, his eye sight is paramount to his shooting success.

It would be a dream for our lottery picks this year and going forward to develop enough to be stars with old Steph & Klay

depends, if he's happy with just a small shooting role, he can easily play till 40

legendary players like Steph tho would rather go out before that happens

i'd say he has one more contract in him after this one

He's going to be an effective player deep into his 30s. And the way his minutes are managed now he could easily play until he's 40 with the way he takes care of himself if that is really something he wants to do.
