As of now looks like we will have our playoffs in the Magical Kingdom. Start is end of July so who knows what can happen between now & then.

Who are you rooting for?
Which team can get hot and win?
Who would you hate to win?

For me:

I'm rooting for the Celtics. Tatum & Brown are a very interesting young duo with Kemba Walker, Gordon Hayward, and Marcus Smart with them. That's a fun squad -- Maybe too young and too early for a ring a la OKC Thunder with their big 3.

Team that can get hot & win?
Lakers. I know they're the top seed in the West but their roster doesn't scream post season dominance to me. LeBron/AD are the top duo in the playoffs but then Kuzma, Dwight, Green, McGee, Bradley etc don't scare me. LeBron will be Lebron, but I'm not sure AD is battle tested in the playoffs.

I don't want the Rockets to win. PERIOD. But a new skinny Harden and Russ being Russ they got an outside shot.

Dallas.

Miami or Dallas

Miami.

Rooting for Dallas, but Clippers will win

Miami/Pelicans or maybe Boston. You won't hear the end of it if Clippers, Lakers, Dallas, Bucks, Rockets, Raps, Philly win it

Anybody but LA.

Don't wanna hear about any Steph comparisons w/ Luka, Harden, Kawhi etc tbh & don't want to lose out on a long shot on with Giannis 2 Warriors so i'll probably go with Miami.

How funny would it be if houston won and the only reason they haven’t been winning titles was because of the warriors.

I hope the Jazz get covid again and they shut down the season before the Finals

The Bucks. I really like Giannis and their team. This is based on the assumption that we won't get Giannis. Giannis to the Warriors is more of a pipe dream scenario than a realistic one.

Milwaukee...

The only favorite I would root for is Milwaukee.
Wouldnt mind Dallas winning... or if Portland makes it - Portland.

Actually i would root for Miami if not for the likelihood if more Kendrick Nunn threads.

As an NBA fan I want to see Giannis win it. As a Warriors fan I want to see them flame out early so he comes to team up with Steph

I like Bucks...but want them to flame out early so Giannis can see it's not going to work out there

Otherwise, I like Dallas....big fan of how Luka plays the game.

Love to see anyone but Houston, Lakers.

Sac and Portland are the only other teams in the league I can tolerate, so I guess them even though they have zero chance.

How would the Clippers wining effect the Laker fans and LeBron fans? I guess I am anti-LeBron and anti-Lakers. Anti-Lakers both as a Celtic fan from way back and as a Northern California fan. I was with the LeBron fans when they were just saying LeBron is better than Kobe but now I am tired of the LeBron fans so more championships for LeBron.

On the other hand, a LeBron championship could set up a dramatic 2021 Western conference finals vs the Warriors with bragging rights for the era on the line.

I still have loyalty to the Celtics so a Celtic championship would be nice but unlikely. Nuggets and Clippers have never won a championship. I guess I will root for the Clippers.

Bucks among the true contenders. Other than them, I'd be excited for Dallas and also Miami.
