Knicks:
GSW 2020 #2
GSW 2021 2RP (we have ours plus Toronto's)

Warriors:
NYK 2020 #8 (Okoro, Okongwu, Toppin, Vassel, etc.)
NYK 2021 1RP (they also have Dallas' 1RP)

Then we have probably a good rookie this year, plus 2 likely medium to high lotto picks next year in a strong draft, that we can either use or package to trade.

Bro we are moving from 2-8. I don't care how underwhelming the draft is that is just a terrible offer. Knicks need to give us 2 extra 1st round picks (clippers 2020 #27 and DAL 1st 21)

Really? You think moving down 6 slots to get the Knicks first rounder next year is a bad deal for us?

You know what, now I think about it. #2 pick should have immense value. If we are not getting an All-star back do not trade the pick. Last year was Morant, 18 was Doncic,JJJ,Trae,MPJ 17 had Tatum, Fox? 16 had Ingram and Jalen Brown, 15 DLo KP, 14 had Embiid, 13 was weird but Dipo went 2, 12 Beal and Lillard on the board.

Like now that scouting and expectations with prospects are better now than before, Franchise like players are available at 2 but idk the 18 draft scares me. I want Wiseman but SAC pick Bagley over Doncic when Doncic was consensus 1a/1b. Right now Ball and Edwards are 1a/1b with a looooot of scouts. But I think our case is different because Ball played in a bad league on a bad team that gave him all the opportunity in the world and he looked bad. Let's not forget ball also got injured and didn't finish the season and left the team without telling them

I still would take Wiseman. He has franchise big potential, his jumper is not Broken, His FT% is not a liability, He fills sooooo many needs(rebounding, Shot blocking, Size, Mobility for a big, Not skinny with a close to NBA ready body(250 pounds), he can actually dribble and create for himself at the 5). Unless we get an allstar back (I'm very hesitant of Simmons/Embiid) Keep the pick and Wiseman

NO on Simmons...just no. I want no part of a guy that can't shoot the fricken ball if his life depended on it and seems to do nothing for the chemistry of that team.

Game experience is huge for young players. He doesn't have much. So best case scenario it takes him what? 3 or 4 years to develop? Does anyone really expect him to be a starting center for a championship caliber team next season? I'm genuinely asking. I'll admit I have to see more film on him, but on the surface I have some concerns.

Wiseman doesn't have to start, Chriss can start. What quality starting center could they get by trading down? None, as far as I can see. Wiseman can break in gradually, play 20 minutes a game or so, and learn. It's rare for a rookie center to come right in, start, and make a difference. Wiseman has the best future of anyone in the draft, as far as I can see.

Agreed. Which is why I'd rather make a win now move by trading the pick. Obviously the trade should make sense and I am excited to see what the possibilities are.

If we end up with Wiseman it will not be the end of the world and I'll trust it is because a solid enough package was not able to be created. I would much rather have Wiseman over Ball or Edwards.

Leaning towards drafting Wiseman....
But....Could the Warriors move Wiggins and the pick for Beal?
Would the Suns take a shot at Lamelo Ball...and give up Booker for Wiggins and Lamelo Ball?

I think IF the Warriors can get a legit star wanting to get out of town (just think of AD if Lakers screw the pooch)...that team is going to be interested in Wiggins and a #2 pick.

Yes it is? We are talking about the #2 pick in a draft with only 3 franchise like players maybe at the top and moving down to 8 for a role player last year the hawks moved from 8 to 4 with this deal

Hawks trade No. 8, No. 17, and No. 35 picks to Pelicans for No. 4, No. 57, a future second-round pick, and Solomon Hill

They didn't make a deal with for the franchise players which were locked at top 2 so it was a bit cheap, also hawks took Hills contract

In 18 DAL gave hawks a cheap offer but that was because there weremany franchise cornerstones in the draft and they thought Trae would be better than Luka(Imo jury is still out on this)

It's about the value of the players. Why would we trade down for a huge talent gap and get only 1 pick that might be protected back?

Don’t anybody bring up trade ideas with Charlotte. Their roster is beyond horrible.

Is this Lavar?

Seriously though. Edwards has Anthony Randolph written all over him. You can't fix low basketball IQ. Wiseman is injury prone and unproven. Ball is the best choice in this year's draft based on his professional experience and potential.

Wiseman is injury prone now? Lol.

Don’t forget....Edwards has been number one on many draft boards. So it’s considered a safe pick for them. And since they have KAT they can say we already had our big man.

If we want Wiseman, he should be there.

I personally want Wiseman, but I'd be happy with either to be honest.

Just no Ball, Deni or Obi.

I didnt see a post, if you responded already I apologize, but why no Deni or Obi. Lets say Wiseman does go 1, who wuld be your fall back at 2?

If I was in control, I'd only trade the pick to get something that would tremendously (Giannis :D) change our favors to win a title. Outside of that I'm very interested in seeing what Wiseman could develop into.

If Wiseman is there at 2, we keep the pick. If not, we simply draft BPA and see if anyone bites for a trade.

Edwards.

If we could find a trade back to where eni is projected to go, that might work as well. Just say the Hawks or Detroit really want Edwards, and Deni is available at their pick, we could trade Edwards at #2 for their pick (Deni), and an asset. We could target Huerter from the Hawks, or maybe Kennard from the Pistons.

I don't know, just riffing.

Yes he is:

Why do you think he didn't serve his 12 game suspension? He was scared of getting hurt, Oden 2.0

I'll swap with the Knicks if they include Mitchell Robinson.

While it’s fun to talk about and speculate, they’re not keeping the pick. It doesn’t matter who we want.

Last time a I remember a team trading out of top 2 it was the Cavs and they got prime Kevin love who was an All-star. If Bob even thinks of trading this pick he better be getting an All-star back
