He just needs to be the 3rd option sf that gets us over the hump to be worth the max.

We have to get him moving without the ball where we can utilize him with backdoor cuts as well. We need to get him some easy buckets also.
i mean seriously..that’s a 100% lock playing with Steph, Dray and Klay

Would Wiggins be any worse than what we saw from Paul George in the Playoffs?

Serious question.

The difference is Wiggins has the splash bros. That is a huge factor for any player on this team. They just have to hit their open shots. It's up to Wiggins to lock himself in the gym and practice corner 3s like Pj tucker. Other thing is he can actually dribble, so he can pump fake and get in the lane through the baseline way better than tucker and either finish or pass to another open shooter

I was thinking this as well. I was not overly impressed with Kawhi either. If the Warriors keep Wiggins he will be defended by the opposing teams 2nd or 3rd best perimeter defende and he will have more space to operate than he has ever seen before. It really all comes down to his passion on defense and taking better shots.

Pg had some decent games against Denver. But really we don’t need 20+ from him every night so he should be able to.

That’s why anyone trying to trade away Wiggins as a negative asset is a non starter for me.

Remember back in the day when we used to butt heads? What was that about anyway, because I find myself agreeing with most everything you post lately.

Kerr about Wiggins this week
https://www.nbcsports.com/bayarea/warriors/why-warriors-should-keep-not-trade-andrew-wiggins-crucial-offseason

If you look at our team last year, we lost all the wing defense from the year before,So, getting Klay back -- he looks really good -- and having Andrew from the beginning, in theory, it should allow us to build a much more solid defense from the outset. I'm excited about that.
I see him as a versatile defender, a wing with great size and speed and the ability to score. Putting him with Steph and Klay is really exciting. There's going to be a lot more open floor than he's had before, so we're really excited about what he can do on offense.
I thought Andrew was excellent last year, and he guarded his position well,That allowed us to put him on the bigger wings, like LeBron and Kawhi. We can just go ahead and put him on those guys. That's a big deal for us, just having the ability to match up. It allows you to manipulate your defense in other ways.

Wiggins is going to be our best point of attack defender. Where he needs to work on defensively is he off ball awareness. Something klay needs to work on as well. That’s why we need another draymond type player who will be able to read the defense and react to cover up any mental lapses.

The only other thing it could have been was draymond starting over Lee. I know when I made that comment no one was ready for it and I caught a lot of flack for it.

If there’s no trade that makes sense then Advija or Patrick Williams please..

Both great fits with Klay- Dray -A&W..one brings solid D and Iguodala like playmaking..the other projects out to be an extremely versatile rugged defender

Klay needs to be the man guy. Looney is much better at communicating the switches than Chriss and Dray can't do it all even in running the defense. Wiggins just has to learn. The Warriors also need veteran wings who can step up and help too.

I recall making a topic about Dray starting in the final season of MJax and you and I were pretty much the only ones on board. It was a lonely fight at the time...

He cost them a TON. They are not going to be able to move him for a deal they want to take.

George's weakness is his tendency to disappear when you really need it. At this point you're better off with Wiggins who doesn't have that history.
