Hindsight is fun :)

A lot of people had a similar idea...only the second trade down would have been to nab Haliburton.

Ahh that woulda been cool. We roll out that little red and white ball and a NBA player pops out of it... that'd sell some tickets

EDIT: Literally didnt know that guy's name at all.. the Thunder guy right? Anyone who's comped to Dragan Bender I instantly trash them

You might live to eat crow on that comparison. Before burning out of the league, Dragan Bender played 187 games and put up only 3 twenty point games. Poku has played only 30 games and has already put up 3 twenty point games...All in the last three weeks, after OKC raised his minutes played. Other than being the same height, I don't see the comparison. Kid really does need to put on some weight though.

Draft sites are mostly bad. Dude scored 25 tonight on 7 made 3s. He's insanely talented.

Could Davion Mitchell be available when the W's draft?

He's flying up draft boards, but ya definitely a chance he's there mid/late lottery.

Reminds me Isaiah Stewart in the sense that he won't be a huge upside pick, but you are getting an NBA rotation player. There are alot of teams that probably wish the didn't worry about Stewart being slightly short and not overly explosive, and instead looked at the fact he won the matchup with literally every good big going back to Wiseman in high school.

Davion will be better than alot of players that get drafted above him, but the team that takes him will have to be okay not swinging for the fences on upside (like how detroit got Stewart... but did have Poku available).

The biggest blind spot for talent evaluators is somehow choosing guys who produce, regardless of physical impact. This team is undoubtedly better this year with Isiah Stewart, Desmond Bane, and whatever we would have gotten in a trade down scenario. Does that team have the juice and high profile prospects to trade for a Beal type? No, and that's not really my point. But still, my point is that every year good players fall in the draft for no reason other than their physical profile being less than ideal.

Know it's a year out, but for 2022 and beyond what are folks thoughts on Chet Holmgren and Emani Bates? I am blown away that players that thin are able to play the sport. I am genuinely terrified watching Bol Bol play for the same reason. Their wingspans are insane, so do I just need to change my perspective or is this a massive concern people are overlooking?

ESPN has Pablo Bachero as #1 for 2022.

I think if either of these guys were trying out for the NFL, sure, they would get snapped like a twig. In the NBA you basically look at someone sideways and it is a foul, so I'm sure they will be fine.

I like Chet. Put the kid on a seal and whale blubber diet asap.

Remember there was serious talk about Avija?

Looks soft as hell having a layup blocked by Bazemore.

Well he's only 20 so 41.7/31.5/62.8 on 23.5 minutes better be a floor.

But glad the Warriors didn't get drawn into that hype.

Yeah this league needs bruisers back. Imagine Bill Lambier walked onto the floor and saw that first dude - my god what a bloodbath

Never be afraid to draft the skinny guy. Speed kills. Long speed kills all. That's what this league is all about

Chets frame scares me more than Bates. Bates looks like he can fill out. Chets legs look like they’ll snap on a drive or rebound

Chet plays hard & Bates has the T-Mac lazy eyes (a sign of greatness). I like them both.
