We need someone on the bench that can guard 1-4. But jp has the backup 1-2 spot locked up.

Maybe Roberson?

But man he can’t shoot a lick. I still like Winslow and Crowder. But not sure either are gettable.

Love to pick up Paul Reed as a guy who can guard all over the floor.

No to Roberson but I would add Will Barton to that list as he may not have a roll on the Nuggets after MPJ broke out in the playoffs.

Yeah I like Barton and he would help us in several areas. So would Schroeder who might be gettable.

I listed Winslow and Crowder because they have the size and legit defense to guard all over the floor.

Started out talking about a defensive wing and we end up with Will Barton?

Kerr and Warriors reportedly interviewing Penn State's Senior Forward Lamar Stevens (SF/PF, 225 lbs). His game is compared to Jae Crowder. I'll have to watch more of his game, but the highlights of him playing against Michigan State to start off (Offensively) is putrid...... Doesn't seem to have a soft touch on his floaters, mid-range, and even dunks -- Which led them to bounce out of the rim. And his dunks... But, again, that's just one game I just had watched that he was terrible. Will watch more of his games to make a better assessment.

Update: Man, Kerr and Warriors should be probably just move on from this dude. He's bricking the hell out of the ball 5 mins into the video...And it's showcasing his OFFENSIVE SKILLS (Had a few good looks and shots, though).. but, I don't know..

Schröder would be amazing to get, he would go a long way towards solving our bench scoring and Steph injury protection needs at the same time.

I like Stevens, but not as much as a handful of other 2nd round options. Notably: Marshall, Hinton, N'Doye, Reed, Stanley, Tillman, Ramsey, Azubuike, Joe.

Stevens, of the 10 mins of video I saw, is inconsistent as they come, offensively (The defense is nothing spectacular either.). Possesses NO elite skill. We're better off with other options you've listed.

I think that we will be completely fine at the backup PG and C position. I expect big improvements from Chriss, Poole, Bowman, Smiley and hopefully a healthy Looney.

That being said, while I'm loving the potential improvements we are seeing from Poole... I think Porter Jr on Cleveland will prove even more that we should have taken him. But if Poole can be serviceable and not a complete bust like Evans, at least it won't be as painful watching Porter Jr blossom into a starter.

If they draft Stevens they should dismantle the front office and start over.

He'll be learning a lot from Steph and Klay next season if they're back completely healthy for the full year.

I'm sure he got a lot of advice from Draymond this past season, but it'll help if he can be around the guys who play his position more.

He might learn stuff about how to approach the game and general stuff like that just from watching them, but as far as improving his individual skills, he'll learn from coaches, assistants, player development coaches, people like that. Other players aren't going to stay and work with him for hours on stuff he needs to work on.

Crowder is definitely first for the MLE wing options, though I think he will fall out of price range.

I am okay with pursuing Harkless, he’s 6-9 with a 7-2 wingspan so he can definitely disrupt shots. Justin Holiday is a good defender, long wingspan and good feet, shot 40% from 3 last year. I thought Holiday developed into a solid backup wing during his time here. I would take Roberson on a minimum, guy can definitely defend.

Schroeder is kind of the dream TPE guy, we would definitely have enough firepower to beat anyone on offense. Barton probably comes in second and I think he is gettable good vet.

Still think Reed is that disruptive game changing defender, I don’t know how they will get him.

I like Bolmaro, has upside as a crafty offensive player.

Well you guys have a lot more confidence in Poole and Bowman than I do but obviously I hope they do improve.

I don't think they'll both be on the roster, though obviously Poole has a better shot (guaranteed contract).

Bolmaro = Manu Ginobili 2.0
Paul Reed? If him, then his shot mechanics need to improve. He'd be a good rotational player at 4/5.
