Yeah, I was thinking the same thing, Olynyk could frustrate LeBron (EDIT: and AD). Oh, he'll foul out if they play him much but he's one of those annoying guys to play against and maybe make Lebron expend some energy and take a few elbows.

And he’ll drain some threes.

Didn't even think of Miami being physical, especially with AD. They certainly have the personnel. AD looked fragile as a toothpick at times in these Playoffs.

You can't play physical against the Lakers because the refs will keep calling fouls in LA's favor. :nonono:

Meanwhile, LA turns up their intensity on defense in crunch time and refs swallow their whistles.

You can, and you can use certain guys to do the dirty work. You have to try, or they’ll run over you and still get the calls.

Dwight Howard did that, pushed around everyone else to get a lot of those offensive rebounds and got Jokic in foul trouble.

That tells you what the NBA thinks of Denver as a market. You have a big star there but they'd rather let Dwight play like prime Shaq and get Jokic in foul trouble than let the Nuggets have an even playing field.

But it's nothing new from this league. That is how Ewing lost all those playoffs series vs. the Bulls. You had scrub centers being able to play Ewing physically and Ewing getting in foul trouble in enough games.

MJ was selling too many shoes, gatorade and got all the ratings, didn't matter that the Knicks were in the biggest market.

I want to see Iguodala rejoin the starters and win his second FMVP, solidifying his position on the Hall of Fame.

Miami’s shooting should win them two games. So they need to figure out a way to grind out 2 more wins.

Just gotta stop giving KCP space. He's been their only legit 3 point shooter.

If they are gonna call fouls on Adebayo guarding Lebron like they just did, he’ll foul out of every game.

Like I have been saying, the Heat are to small if they don’t play Leonard and Olynk. The Heat are competitive with BAM in but as soon as he subs out and they go small they take a pummeling.

I swear, I don’t get it. Teams keep trying to go small against the Lakers and get punished. Everyone drank to much Warriors Kool-Aid on the small ball, we always ran into tactical issues with bigger teams. But if your going small you have to really drill those 3’s because you will not win anything in the paint. We have the two best shooters, but we also were just more talented where we could toy around with things.

The Blazers, Nuggets, and Heat have all played the Lakers real close with Nurkic, Jokic, and BAM. But as soon as those bigs subbed out those teams got pummeled and would play from behind. The Rockets never played a center so they had no chance.

The Lakers are just busting the 2-3 zone, and the Heat are playing a 2-3 zone because they are the smaller team.

Whether it’s Wiseman, or Howard, or whomever acquisition at center we really need some size, even a couple additions.
