Steve Kerr says Steph Curry was "in amazing shape" during the times he worked out at Chase Center prior to minicamp.

"I have no doubt that he's working his tail off and that he's going to have a phenomenal season for us. ... He's going to be better than ever."

There’s no question Steph isn’t just sitting around not getting better. He’s an all time great. Can’t wait to see him again

If that means he can stay healthy then good news. Otherwise, Steph doesn't really have to do anything else; him at his previous level is already better than most players in the league.

I mean he's been hurt to some capacity 4 years in a row now. At this point I just hope he can get through the playoffs unscathed.

There's actually better quotable lines in that article if you read it.

When I hear "fluidity" i'm like huhhhh.

But in the article, his trainer said his body is the strongest than it's ever been. How every body develops different, and Steph's been getting more chiseled compared to the past. He's a "young 32" and could play longer than people would expect him to.

They deliberately don't post how his body looks right now because they want him to train in silence (pretty much they want people to keep sleeping on Steph so he can surprise everyone next season and remind them how much of a beast he is.)

Also mentions how after all the mileage of going to the Finals for so many years, Steph's mind and body has recovered well since the hand injury + the time away from the Bubble.

This amazing Warrior run has been a highlight, but I need them to do at least one more thing before the era is over:
Eliminate the Lakers on their way to another chip. That would make me a very happy man.

Return to Golden State Warriors
