Oh I see. This is apparently a No Trade thread lol.
Tell me what trades y'all approve? Wiggins for Giannis? LMAO

I was right about 3 point shooting. I expect to be right about Tacko Fall. Some coach will figure out how to use Tacko Fall. This movement towards undersized centers will sweep ng back. Back to the basket scorers will return to the NBA.

This one's not too terrible, I don't like bridges that much though, he's good but his defense and passing and size are a bit iffy for me. Wiggins and the 2 picks for Hayward, would still be a bit of an injury risk, but the upgrade from Wiggins to hayward might be worth it.
Not sure if charlotte would do it though.
I want NO part of Gordan Hayward. I thought he was overrated when he was healthy!

I think most people generally want trades that either make the Warriors today true contenders or provide legitimate young talent to build on.
Your last two proposals impressively avoid both.
But both are very good at promoting your Twitter page.

Just because nobody likes your trade doesn't make it a no trade thread.... it just makes it a no shittty trade thread.

Re: Trade Thread (EPISODE VI: Can't we just put EVERYTHING in the TE?)
Fans and BS talking heads speculate on wild trades all the time just to talk.
People get in their mind what the Warriors have to have and what their priorities are and then go all in speculating how to get there.
Most trades proposed would be flat turned down by the other teams, and the ones that wouldn't be would be turned down by the Warriors.
The reality is that there are no trades reasonably out there that will assure the Warriors win a title next year and the team has said several times that they want to build a team not just win this year.
The only reasonable trades are minor ones, not transformative ones.

Re: Trade Thread (EPISODE VI: Can't we just put EVERYTHING in the TE?)
How much better are 50 games of Hayward compared to 80 of Wiggins? Not to mention that Hayward is on a bad contract for a year longer, when he'll be what, 34 or 35 years old?
I've asked it before and I'll ask it again: when has Gordon Hayward suddenly become a positive contract again? It was widely criticized when it was signed less than a year ago, and since had one season in which he played roughly as expected (don't let yourself be blinded by an outlier January) while getting injured again.
The idea that Hayward and Bridges are worth Wiggins, Wiseman, 7 and 14 is absolutely insane, and Charlotte would jump all over that. I'm actually surprised this trade has not been received far worse on this board. I'd have think long and hard about Wiggins for Hayward straight up. Availability matters, and Hayward himself is ‘merely’ an above average starter even before taking into account contract, age, injury history and the fact that we really need one-on-one perimeter defense.

Warriors said to be "highly active" in trade talks involving #7.

Is there any deal around the #2 and Wood that Rockets might say yes to?
Wiseman, #7, #14, 2022 1st, maybe another 1st and a pick swap here and there?

lol correct.
Followup, with maybe the same answer...
Would Rockets go all in on Jalen Green timeline and trade Wood for Wiseman and #7?
To me it seems like a lot for Wood, but he fits the timeline of what they seem to be after. Especially with rumors swirling of 1) Kuminga dropping and 2) all the "win now" stuff for Warriors at #14 with Duarte or Kispert
Rockets go all in with Green, Kuminga, Wiseman future
Warriors go all in for next couple years with:
Steph / Mills (mle) / Nico
Klay / Poole / Lee
Wiggins / JTA / Duarte (#14)
Dray / Otto (vet min) / Paschall
Wood / Looney / Chriss
Not saying this is a top option of mine, but I could see it happening.

I think they'd be all over that, but I would absolutely hate this trade for us. Wood is not that great nor valuable, imo.

You think Otto Porter would take the min while the Warriors pay Patty Mills the MLE?

Re: Trade Thread (EPISODE VI: Can't we just put EVERYTHING in the TE?)
My reasoning for Otto Porter hopefully getting a vet min is that his last 3 seasons he has played 56 games, 14 games, and 28 games. Nobody is giving him too much money. He's also made 130m, so if he's getting TPMLE offers only, he may say yes to a vet min on a contender siince its within a couple million.
Mills hasn't made as much in his career, let the guy have a few more bucks than Otto

I agree. I think Wood is a little bit of fool’s gold, putting up stats on bad teams. I have little interest in him.
If I don't have anything funny to say, can I still have a signature?

Hayward is 31. Not exactly 34 or 35.

Power is saying he will be 34 when his contract ends, which is true.
