Klay going down again changed everything when it comes to being a free agent destination. Can’t make players sign and there’s no cap room to overpay to get them

How did we sign the 2nd round pick contracts last year?
Second rounders get two-ways most often.

Some people are just complaining to complain.

Reggie Jackson (Backup PG)
Kyle Korver (Should come cheap and at a deep discount. One trick pony at this point of his career.)
GRIII (Solid contributor last season; Should bring him back -- if possible)

So, we're pretty much screwed either way and losing our 1st round pick to OKC then by falling to bottom 10. Cool.

You have that backwards. Okc gets the pick if we have a top 10 record, 1-20 we keep the pick
The Warriors will convey that pick to the Thunder next season only should they finish 21st to 30th in the final regular-season standings. If the Warriors land in the top 20, they will send two second-round picks to Oklahoma City, sources said.

Warriors fall between 21st - 30th place overall (Bottom 10), we give up our pick to OKC.
If Warriors land 2021 top 20 pick (1-20), OKC gets two 2nd round picks.
It's not backwards; Clearly written and interpreted with the condition of this trade.
And I see us meeting the first condition.

Nico gets a 2-way
So we got 1 roster spot (assuming we only carry 14) and 1 2-way available... with Mulder, JTA, and Norvell duking it out?
Edit: Without Curry and Green that's the worst team in the league again. We need a lot from Curry and some serious improvement from our youngsters.

Why do you think we're only carrying 14 players? Since Klay is hurt that means 13.

Because what would be the benefit of carrying more? Its just extra luxury tax and less flexibility, especially when they can dump JTA or Mulder with no penalty. If those guys were significantly better than what was available when dumpster diving then I could see us holding onto them. But I'm not sure they are.

He's a tough-nosed defensive oriented PG with a 2.5-1.1 assist-turnover ratio. He also shot 93% from the line.
Celtics fans are cheering the Teague over Wanamaker signing and I have no idea why. Teague is horrible. He defends like the smurfiest PGs in the league, -4.19 DRPM to Wanamaker's -1.87.
I am thrilled we ended up with Wanamaker instead of Teague.
