I think there could be some game-changing shockers

I was wondering about this. Avery Bradley opted out of the bubble due to his kid. Will he play this upcoming season? In the end I think he will not sacrifice a seasons worth of pay.

There might be an odd player or two who is expecting a child or the like and opts out

Other than that I don't see any game-changing shockers. But I guess that's why they'd be game-changing shockers.

Didn’t Bradley already elect not to play in the bubble? This is probably a worse setup than the bubble
Most 4th Quarter Points in Final since 1991
1995 Shaquille O'Neal 11.5
2000 Shaquille O'Neal 11.5 (61.1% TS)
2015 Stephen Curry 10.8 (75.1% TS)
1997 Michael Jordan 10.7 (55.1% TS)
1998 Michael Jordan 10.6 (50.6% TS)
2011 Dirk Nowitzki 10.3 (68.0% TS)

You would think teams signing free agents would ask that question before signing anyone, even if it’s just a verbal commitment.

Kids aren't particularly at risk though. I'm sure it's more likely that some people have parents/spouses with comorbidities etc that would make them take this option.

That's why Bradley sat out of the bubble I believe so I used that example but you're right parent/spouse would make sense in that regard.
