Caught a few of his Hawks games and like 2 when he was the Kings. He is still a very good perimeter defender and has a really high motor. His shot is just the only suspect thing and he is like 6'4"

JTA almost certainly out, FO should cut bait on Smiley but unfortunately they probably keep him and cut Mulder

It's not like there were a lot of prime choices. He's probably about as good as we were going to get for a wing. At the price.

Chriss was guaranteed 800k with the rest of $1.8 guaranteed if not waived by Jul 15. If that date held, he's be guaranteed by now.

Is Mannion on a contract or not? 2 way? Because his roster spot can be used for MLE/DPE or are we trading someone to capspace? I vote Smailigic

Bazemore is a good signing. Plus defender and career 35% 3pt shooter. So he can fill the 3+D role off the bench. Still only 31 too.

I think we landed Bazemore on the cheap..maybe a little backroom dealing going on? Hope so..Lots of trust there between the two sides..

Yeah, $2.3M is minimum for an 8 yr vet, which I believe Bazemore is.

Eh....as long it's not the last move we make I'm okay with it.

One thing for sure....Warriors are not excided about what Toscano and the others....otherwise why bring in Bazemore

14 roster spots taken now. I imagine a two way was agreed with Mannion before drafting him. If they get Gasol, should be easy to trade Chriss and maybe even pick up a 2nd rounder. Mulder appears to be doomed.

I think you can forget Gasol, too much competition for him. And I'm guessing both JTA and Mulder will be gone after training camp.
