I don't understand this mission you're on. Players fall on their butts all the time during games, and Steph does regularly on drives to the hoop. He has an actual bone bruise in his tailbone. If he comes back early, not only is he diminished while dealing with the pain, if he falls on his butt, he could aggravate it and be out a month. That's with just a regular fall on his butt, not a fluke fall into the risers right on his tailbone.

Steph has proven himself sufficiently tough to play through injuries that he can play through. There are times to push that envelope, and there are times to be smart about it and hold off. Everything about this screams that he should be smart and wait.

Back in my day men didn't have butts to fall back on. We had to fall back on grit and determination. This generation is far too soft.
