Oubre deserves a low key star tonight as well. Some of the same defensive rotation stuff, but a great supporting cast game on the offensive end

I've gone back and forth on him this game. I felt like he was having a horrible game, but then noticed he was actually being relatively efficient. I concluded that all in all he's doing okay, but when he's missing, he's missing ugly. Getting himself in terrible positions, missing shots he should never have taken, etc. But after a point you can't just applaud every time a guy has success and yell every time he makes a mistake. At some point, that's just who he is and how he plays.

Where's Barnett when we need him to advise Wiseman to keep that block in bounds? heh

Kerr not force feeding JW ineffective post ups was also a key adjustment.

He made an adjustment when he realized his 3 wasn’t gonna fall. I don’t think he’s had that self-awareness before

Was just about to comment on him. He’s not shooting from outside and has been blocked like 4 times. Even with all that, I think he’s been a net positive with his rebounding, energy and effort.

The Warriors have been running this play for years where the center sets a screen then gets the ball and makes a pass from above the free throw line while Steph tries to get open. It made a lot of sense when Bogut and Zaza did it because they were real brutes setting the screen and were excellent passers. Bogut and Zaza couldn’t shoot the ball so being patient was key. But with James he will just be wide open with his man sagged in the paint, he needs to square up and shoot that ball. West would shoot that shot, though he was patient. Speights would take that open shot every time and was lethal on the sag.

Just to me it’s an obvious that James is trying to run the offense without looking at the hoop and his man to see he’s wide open and capable. It’s literally the most open shot opportunity he gets and he passes on it for the sake of running the play.

I feel like I've seen it before, but what usually has happened is he seems to say, "My shot isn't falling. I should take it inside!" And promptly drives into traffic, only to have his shot put back on his head by 3 guys. And there was some of that earlier this game, too. But that's where I mean you can't just say, "See? He should be 7 for 8 if he just hadn't taken those other 8 shots!"

(This did highlight that by now he's pretty inefficient tonight. But if I was happy when he was 5-12, and I'm not happy when he's 7-18, that's a pretty small sample size to sweat.)

When Steph is in, dray is banging 3s and Wiggins is going crazy like this we need a lot less form Oubre and he seemed comfortable with cleaning up plays tonight rather than trying to create them. That’s his lane.

Oubre is our biggest ceiling raiser. When we're playing well all his freelancing(on both ends) takes the opposition by surprise and his extreme talent level means he's difficult to recover to. His cuts to the bucket, getting steals and grabbing rebounds are crucial to our success. Let's keep him.

And I think this is exactly why he kept getting minutes earlier this year when so many here were screaming for him to get benched or cut. I think our leadership, and I agree, said, "Look. If Oubre really is this bad and can't figure it out, then we just aren't a good enough team, period. If we can help Oubre figure it out and play to his talent, then he could help us be good enough to really compete."

Wiggins earned 1/70th of $30,000,000 tonight. Again he was magnificent.

Warriors clamped lavine. Bulls are going to struggle with vuc as the defensive anchor with LaVine up top. Just not enough defense.

Because of this damn pandemic he's getting paid even more per game than normal. I am outraged.

He’s a supporting role player. We have to be playing well enough that he’s not asked to create anything or make any decisions. Just get himself on the receiving end of an assist or two and secure the bag when our team D has created opportunity for a distruption. When he’s trying to ignite or initiate things it means our good players are playing like poop.

If kept in his lane, he could be a good rotation specialist off the bench. He’s not Iguodala’s replacement he’s JTA with streaky upside

The people you are talking bout eat paint chips. Everyone complaining that he’s not playing with fire or “dog” in him ain’t watching the defensive end night in and night out.
