Mitchell not quite to Curry level yet. LAC did a Curry lite guarding, and Mitchell not able to do a Curry when double teamed... where Curry constantly get triple teamed or box and one.

Damn, I did not see Denver getting swept, that’s rough. I knew the Suns were good but may have underestimated them.

I was never that impressed with Denver. Warriors did well against them, even before Murray's injury.

Warriors had harder time vs. Phoenix for sure.

Bucks-Nets is a series now. Kyrie may be out and who knows if Harden will try to make it back.

Remember when many thought they'd get walked by the Lakers?

The Suns issue is all CP3. If they keep him then they are stuck being this team or less until the end of his contract. If they let him go the fear will be that their play falls apart. I think they should let him go.

I want CP3 to get the max. Imagine some of Suns' important pieces get shipped out because Sarver can't afford luxury tax.

He's getting over $41 million now.

Still playing well so someone will give him a 2 or 3 year extension. A 4 or 5 year may be too much though.

Bridges is going to get paid too. And now Ayton has raised his profile.

I don't hope for injuries on any players....but...

I can honestly say I'm not tooooo unhappy at what is going on with Nets....Karma maybe? Klay says to Durant from his recovery bed..."we have unfinished business". Durant nods and ... takes off.

In the end maybe it will be Draymond and Durant realizing they DO need each other.

All this...makes the Warriors 5 finals in a row even more spectacular....

I want the Nets to win. I actually like KD, Harden and Kyrie. Nash too. After the Dubs blocked them from winning more I'd feel happy to see them succeed.

Jazz - Bucks final for me.

Got turned off the Suns after watching CP3 and Cameron Payne flop last series. Can't find it in me to support that kind of shite.

Nuggets getting swept. Can't play for now and the future.. I'd expect a lot of MPJ trade rumors in the offseason

What this playoffs tells me is that the teams in the league...not that great (other than Nets when healthy).

Warriors will compete for a championship this coming year as is...if healthy.

Still pulling for the Bucks, then 76ers. Don't really care for all the remaining West teams.

As for our team, if Wiseman/Poole shows signs of improvement, and if we nail both picks, we will have a much need depth to support our core players.

Then, over time, these 4 players become our core.

I've never seen a player as apathetic on defense as MPJ. He's even got plenty of length to be a help shot blocker but there's just no effort.

Can’t disagree. I’ve been a huge fan bc the GB shat all over him when he was drafted, “waste of a pick” because they don’t understand how back injuries work..

But he’s leaving a ton of his potential on the table and it’s damned frustrating. THAT SAID, if Denver was willing to take a pick for him, I’d consider giving the 6/7 for him. I think the upside is worth it, especially in our system where he could be the 3/4. I still believe in his superstar upside but I don’t think he’ll find it in Denver.

The most common opinions on the GB is that he doesn't have the lateral quickness to be a good defender and/or his chronic back problems are slowing him down.

I don't know if either are true but it's not really what I saw. Physically, to my eye he has everything he needs to be a good defender. What I think I see are persistent chemistry issues. Something between him and Jokic and also Murray when he was healthy. Are the chemistry issues because Porter doesn't exert proper effort on defense or does Porter not exert proper effort because of the chemistry issues? Does Porter want more shots, to be more of the focal point of the offense?

Regardless, the body language of the team is horrible right now. Porter getting switched onto and exploited possession after possession made itself felt in the way his teammates carried themselves.

IIRC, lateral quickness was something that was questioned, but I think its always been effort/system.. the Nuggets defense is messy. I cant make sense of it. Maybe if put into our system we could make him passable? If so, his offensive potential makes him a very worthy risk. Hell if we could trade the 6/7 for MPJ and then the 14/Looney for Boucher and 2nds, I think that'd be a really great team:

Curry / Poole / Nico
Klay / Wiggins / Poole / Lee
MPJ / Wiggins / Lee / JTA
Draymond / MPJ / JTA / Paschall
Boucher / Wiseman

A lot of length, versatility, 3pt shooting.. love it. I'd probably want to add a PG and a C in FA, if we cant get 2 targets in the 2nd (Sharpe for C, Ayayi for PG)

But I'd love that squad
