Nah.....it's next year...Warriors in the WCF....need a basket....and neither Draymond, Simmons or Wiseman can get you one. :(

I don't want any player that demands max moneys that has to hide when it matters :noway:

Clippers may still be able to win the series without Kawhi. Morris/Jackson/PG13/Batum..they have multiple guys who can handle and score.. ball movement has been great and Jazz just not able to keep up with them.
imagine if we can add some wings who can create and shoot. our smallball 5 will kill this jazz with ease.

If they lose this series no way they can keep Doc, who’s coached like 4 or 5 big collapse in the playoffs in the last two seasons. Either cursed or incompetence.

OTOH, this is the same Sixers team which got swept in the first round in the Bubble.

Embiid has had an MVP-level season but if they fail even to get to the ECF, it proves that Embiid and Simmons aren’t a good enough combo

Athletes were not generally allowed to jump the line, especially early on when supplies were limited.

In fact I think Silver said they wouldn't jump the line.

The NBA didn't push publicly for them because of the obvious negative PR that would cause. That doesn't mean individuals would have had a problem acquiring one themselves very early on. There's a few rumors around about a certain NBA player who got vaxxed early and then had the audacity to have a video of them getting 'jabbed' in April.

Active pro athletes were getting their shots around February/March. To that point, I can confirm with my own eyes. Maybe I'm too cynical at this point but thats just how it works. If they want painkillers, they get painkillers. If you or I want painkillers, we'd better either be deathly in need of them, or know someone who can get them.
I got my first shot in early February. Signing up for it was pretty much equivalent to getting your medical marijuana card. The hardest part was getting an appointment. That was also a matter of timing on the website... First come first served.

Ouch Kawhi out with ACL?

There goes my Franchise part Deux dream.

Wonder if LAC willing to part PG-13 to the Dubbs?

So you want Ben, another player who can't shoot added with Dray, Loon & Co.? I guess Curry and Klay will only need to average 80PPG to win games from now on.

He's a 30m/year player that you literally can't use the last 5 minutes of a postseason game.

But if it is a straight up Simmons for Wiggins swap, I will not blink.

At least Simmons is a better ball handler than anything Dubbs have outside Curry/Dray. Dubbs losing a lot of games when they both are off the floor. Fix the shooting mess with the draft and ring chasers.

I don't trust Wiggins to make big shots in the playoffs, until he shows he can do it.

Same for Simmons, who's even worse.

But they're both great wing defenders.

You can swap dray with simmons straight up, and that’s it. dray+simmons together on the floor would’ve been unplayable even in the nineties

Simmons, really? Forget the 4-14 foul shots, in a critical playoff game he takes 4 shots the entire game? Even Draymond tries harder than that.

In fact as for today simmons is overrated and I wouldn’t acquire him. But if for whatever reason you want to acquire him, you do it to replace dray not to play them together.

we already play with 2 non offensive players in Draymond and Looney and Simmons is better than Looney. Ben is really a center when he's off the ball and is pretty much a more laid back draymond with more physical talent. We can probably make it work but it would make it really tough on Steph. This is why I don't want anything to do with Scottie Barnes.

we can have Simmons if he is cheap and if we somehow got 2 wings who can shoot. Simmons dont have to play the last 5 mins to close out games.

Buy low. I'd still go for Kawhi after an ACL repair.

If it's full ACL reconstruction, he may be out most or all of next season.

So you'd be giving him a 4 year deal at max salaries where you eat his salary for one year.

Lacob has already had to do that for 2 years of Klay's max deal.

Simmons is intriguing to me and I wonder what the market will be for him assuming they want to shake up the roster in Philly. He obviously is struggling with his confidence in his shooting and he and Embiid don't seem to maximize each others strengths. GS does seem to be a team that he could work on if Klay is able to stay on the court next season with Curry. Wiggins salary matches up and we could add a pick but then we would have Ben and Draymond in the starting 5. Trading Draymond would require some added salary and we could add Wiseman or Looney. I think adding Wiseman is too much but I know many are down on him and would jump at the chance to trade him.

we can't trade Draymond period. game is getting faster and more elite teams will run small 5. Draymond Green is the best small 5 of all time...if you want our team stay competitive Curry and Draymond are both untouchable.

Main thing Simmons has over Dray is younger and finishes better. Taller but not sure with wingspan he's able to defend bigger 4s and 5s.

Dray has cheaper contract, can play make esp. with Curry.

We've seen that Simmons can't be the best or second best player on a title contender, which is why the Sixers would trade him. Can he be the third best? Maybe but why risk it?

Bucks offense is such vomit a majority of the time. Torn between how I’d rather watch KD go off vs. not wanting Harden/Kyrie to win anything. Giannis’ pee-wee handles ain’t cutting it.

With Brooklyn hobbled the winner is coming out of the west. I’m taking phx, Utah or lac over anyone that comes out the east as long as Brooklyn stays hurt
