He's a big guard. Looks like he can defend right out of the gate. Not a pure shooter like we've been used to in Curry and Klay.

He's gotta start to begin the season though right? I mean its him or Poole.. and for some reason we are deadset against having Poole be a starter despite the net rating with the starters

Tho i agree Kerr would prefer to keep Poole in his role, i dont think its going to happen. As much as you and clyde like him, he still was the 14th pick. Moody doesnt know this system. I dont want to Oubre him

Bring Baze back and keep Poole as the 6th man off the bench. He'll still get 25-30mpg if he plays like the last 1/3rd of last season, and Moody can fill in Mulder the garbage collector's minutes (but hopefully play better).
If he plays like the end of last season, he will get close to start minutes. Will very likely end up having the 4th highest MPG until Klay's back either way. But it will be harder for teams to gameplan vs an undersized guard duo this way, gives Klay flexibility vs others.
