It's for next season (or at least an offseason invite)

With Wiseman officially out for the season the team could use another big body. I wonder if there might be a big to get bought out in the next week?

Too late for buyouts. Anyone waived after March 1 not eligible for the playoffs. Someone from the G league or coming off a 10 day contract would be eligible. They would have to cut someone to make a roster spot, though.

Is he officially out for the season or are you speculating based on the knee swelling?

Melo and amare should thrive in this offense. If Jeremy Tyler and cole Aldridge looked that good in summer league then us knick fans have a lot to be excited about. Make room for all the bandwagoners when we take off

speculating but with only 12 games to go before the playoffs I think it is safe to assume he is out for the season.

I hope we sign someone that can be physical against Ayton etc... Just someone who can actually move people around.

This has been the issue the whole year and they refused to address it.

I’d like to take a look at Kenyon Martin Jr. explosive wing for cheap.

Would DMC be willing to sign with us for the MLE? I can see him playing 10-20 minute stretches and provide us the interior scoring and rebounding we need for next season.

Calling it now, Delon Wright will sign for the minimum with us and replace the Andre role.

Would be great but he is coming off a contract where he earned around $9 million.

So unless nobody is willing to give him say $4 or 5 million, it doesn't seem likely.

Yea he’d have to miss out on a contract he wants and decide to take a 1 year vet min and go after a ring and a new contract the following year. I think some that will come down to what happens with GP2 and OPJ. If either walk for a good contract or stay for a good one (MLE) then he might be more open to it because it will have worked for them. Otherwise, he’s going to look for a team that’s going to give him the largest role to showcase himself for a new deal.

Covington just got 2/24. I can't see any scenario for either wiggs or poole to get anything below 20M per year. In hoping for a hometown discount, particularly from wiggs.

This is the kind of thing the FO has to think about when they're handing out "reasonable" sounding contracts (like 20-25 million.)

Dave Benz was let go by the twolves. Dubbs shoukd swoop in and replace Fitz. Any transaction with the twolves ends up as a favorable one.

How much do you think Mo Bamba will get in free agency?

That's assuming Orlando drafts Holmgren and declines to keep Bamba.

Though it's crazy to think they'd just let him walk, a top 5 pick.

Had his best season in his contract year though.

Would love to keep GP2 next season.
