I hope Faried still physically has it. I love his hustle.

So, does anyone know what Faried did from 2019 to 2021? I looked on his Wikipedia page and he was released from a Chinese team in December of 2019 and then next he was on the Blazers SL team in August of 2021. Was he just out of the league?

Not sure what he was doing but I think he has less than a 1% chance of making the team.

The Warriors had Avery Johnson and Langston Galloway as part of pre-camp scrimmages last season.

The Warriors are expected to fill their open training camp roster spot out of the free agents coming to the Bay Area.

Mac McClung, Jerome Robinson, Trevion Williams and Pat Spencer make up the young group of non-guaranteed camp invitees also competing for the back end of the Warriors’ roster.

I remember loving RHJ and was adamant he’d be better than Stanley Johnson. Oh well.

Oddly, I still like RHJ and if he makes the team I can see myself talking myself into thinking he’s a 6’7” GP2. Oh well.

Probably overthinking this, but does anyone else think this is a hint that Iguodala is headed for retirement? We have 19/20 camp spots filled already...

It's a bit of a surprise to me that these guys are still FAs... they are certainly NBA-caliber players.

I don't have the numbers at my lap right now, but I'm under the impression the league has had a MAJOR turnover rate in the last 2 years...

RHJ: his invite seems like a experiment to check if he could adapt and thrive in the GP2 role. The problem is that Rondae has no range on his jumper... he can't play off the ball, cut & etc, but only hang around the basket... that wouldn't work in our system. Plus I don't know if he can defend the small guards like GP2 did.

Faried: I tried to search and haven't found where he did play in the last 2 seasons. The guy fizzled out very quickly. Still, maybe he could provide a role more or less similar to Javale's.

Galloway: we have Poole already.

Payton: only in case Rollins can't play at all due to the injury, and McClung is overwhelmed. Still, we need a 3rd PG and I think we will enter the season with one on the roster.

McLemore: interesting choice, but I don't know if they will go this path, as he could take away lots of minutes from Moody, Kuminga, etc. Maybe the young players haven't developed as expected during the offseason? Maybe these invites are just a kick in the butt to create a reaction?

Avery Johnson: glad to see he's still around and kicking.

Is there another Avery Johnson than the former Spur, former Warriors, former coach?

I'm going to assume they meant Avery Bradley who was actually in camp last year.

Scottie Pippen Jr I really wanted the Warriors to grab. I know we wanted vets but he has a solid foundation. Imagine another NBA player son emerging with the Warriors.

There's no playing time for him here. They should only look at him if one of Looney or Wiseman gets seriously injured. Otherwise, these two plus both Greens (plus a minute or two of ultra-small-ball) cover the Center position for 48 minutes a game.

If the FO was willing to pay for him on a minimum I'd strongly advocate doing it, I expect Favors still has something in the tank.

I've been open to Dwight Howard joining the team on a minimum contract for a while. He hasn't been problematic in years. I always prefer insurance on big men for the Finals.

Would love to have a big, athletic, experienced C that is good at rebounding come in. Mostly to give Wiseman someone to battle with in practice. He really needs to improve that fight.

Not really a fan of Howard as his ego has always been bigger than his game. But he may be more reasonable at this stage of his career.

Brooklyn may be reengaging with placing KD on the market again.
Would GS be interested? They can now sell him on being this season savior and the very reason they won the title, should they win the title with him.

I'm sure it's not the same after the achilles, but last time KD played here he was competing with Dray for DPOY

Too much baggage there.

Curry and Draymond may be willing but I think KD would have a little disdain for them if they displayed how thirsty they were.

If the girl dumped you before, don't crawl back to her hoping she's changed her mind. Even if she took you back, she will see you as weak.
