I remembered it from the wrong press conference, but he still threw it out there that Summer League isn't automatic.

Dosunmu is who I wanted them to buy for, but didn't think he'd slip past 40 and high 2nds for sale are pretty rare and the Warriors had limited money to spend on it.

No it wouldn't because if said player turned out to be good, certain posters would bring it up for the next decade

It will come up anyhow, just now the assumption will be that ANY 2nd round pick that is good was the target and Myers failed to force another team to sell.

just sounds like he doesn't want them to get hurt and wants to make sure they get enough reps/conditioning before SL so they'll be ready for the season, if anything the opposite.
