Going to be a bit quiet here for at least the next 21 days... so in the meantime, I propose a little detective game.

Anyone know where or what this is?

It's the WiZink Center, an events venue in Madrid Spain. It's where Steph Curry led team USA to a world cup championship in 2014.

Nice one Neo! Now for an easy one, because I don't have the time to look for something trickier... and also because Old_Blue has decided to grace us with his presence.

Christ The Redeemer statue in Rio. Are all these going to add up to a revelation like OMG it says Ben Simmons To Warriors?

I visited Cape Town for the 2010 Fifa World Cup. Loved the city!

I drove Joburg>Durban>Capetown back in the day. I also loved Capetown despite getting my rental car broken into while I was out checking the night life. Leaving my bag in clear view on the backseat didn't help I guess. Doh. Also walked that little pointy mountain called Lionshead on the right.

Tip: it's not the road to Rivendell.

I've seen some of those worlds most dangerous roads on youtube. Crazy bloody people.

Hmm very high altitude... driving on the lefthand side of the road. I'm guessing one of those countries along the Himalayan range but Pakistan/Afghanistan is probably too dry for these pics and considering your South American bias... I'm going somewhere in Peru.

The road to Machu Pichu?

That "tip" makes me think the bicycle one is from New Zealand.

It's "Death Road" in Bolivia.

My father lived near the top of this road as a child (I think it's called Yungas or something like that). He ran away from home when he was 17 by walking 50 miles to the nearest place he could literally hop on rail and head to the US.

This one is closer to home:

GSWF, I was going to say Bolivia (honestly) but went with Peru. My detective skills are slipping.

Scoot, your father caught a train all the way from Bolivia to the US as a 17yo? Did he know anyone where he was going? Sounds like a fascinating story.

Man... without knowing your father, I'd say that one of the best things he ever did in his life. By what I know of Bolivia, it's a hell hole. So much different from America, and I'm quite sure he has told you the same thing multiple times in your life.

Devin: you were not far off, buddy! Next time you'll get there.

As for your previous pictures (I forgot to post then), I believe that is some place in Norway, right? I recall seeing it in some culture show, but can't remember the name of the place. Cheers.
