If they extend Poole, paying him north of $20 or $25 million, they're going to have to have wing defenders so that he can't be easily targeted.

So it's not a case of either Poole or Wiggins but probably both. Unless Kuminga and Moody shows big improvement over the offseason that they can each get at least 15-20 minutes a game.

Well given their luxury tax situation, the coaching staff may be given that mandate, to work those young players in regardless.

We got fans that watch the Warriors who think Poole is taking over for Steph already. That's been cringe

lol its why this is my last hurrah, I cant even take it anymore. If people want to be lazy analysts, fine, but they put more 10000000x more effort in defending the general take that took them 5 minutes than actually trying to figure out why stuff happens

if this team decides to max or near max Poole instead of selling high on him this offseason they deserve everything coming.

i think we should sell him high.
With Poole the ceiling is really low, you need surround him with 3 defensive guys. he is 6th man at the best.

been repeating this the entire season, but people too busy calling my posts 'troll' instead of looking at the players objectively.

Poole long term next to Steph is a disaster. you dont need a basketball genius to know this. sell high on him while his stock is up, that's how you build long term success, by flipping players that dont fit at their highest for players that do.

Would anyone do a Poole S&T for Malcolm Brogdan, with a secondary deal of Wiseman for Isiah Jackson as well.

I would.

Brogdan is owed $21m per year over the next 3 years

Poole is under contract for next year, so he can't be a S&T until after next season. Is that what you mean?

You're the same guy who, six months ago, was advocating crypto and NFTs and telling everyone how they'd "be left behind" if they didn't act fast. So, it's kind of hard to take anything you write seriously.

I wouldn't mind trading Poole for Brogdon, who turns 30 in December and is signed for the next 3 years.

Would he start alongside Curry instead of Klay? Because they may not keep Klay after his deal runs out unless he takes a steep discount.

Brogdon makes $22M next year to Poole's $4M so you'd have to find another $14M salary to trade Poole for him this summer.

Poole has shown his value and his limitations this postseason. The Warriors wouldn't be in the second round of the playoffs without him but he also has long stretches where his feel for the game goes out the window. He is a young improving player who still needs to become more consistent and cut out those lapses where he over dribbles and improve as a defender. The guy has shown that he is a true pro and a grinder and I think he will continue to improve. He is also currently the only player on the team that can create for himself and others not named Curry.

Not sure what folks expect to get back for him when they say to "sell high" on him. If it is in a package with Wiggins for a star then I am down but if it is for a player on a similar contract to Poole's I don't see how you can get equal value.

lmao - i mean the amount of **** takes you have, especially on this crypto/NFT topic, is mind bending. i made more money on crypto/NFTs that you have in your entire life, and will continue to do so and laugh at people like you who probably thought the internet was a fad.

yea, you're gonna get left behind in a big way, and it's gonna be hysterical imo.
