How about a good start for once.

I don't think the Dubs have to do anything to exotic to win the series, just execute. Kind of the usual stuff. Luka will put up big numbers, but just like with Jokic, don't let him get everyone else going.

- Gang rebound
- Don't leave Dallas' 3 shooters open on the line, especially in the corners
- Don't let Dallas dictate a sluggish pace—run and attack
- Make Luka work hard for his points and go at him on the offensive end, make him run around on defense
- Come out with energy and focus, get after it right from the tip
- Limit the @*$# turnovers

X-factor for Dubs: Jordan Poole
X-factor for Mavs: I dunno, probably Dinwiddie or Finney-Smith

That would be nice. But I’ll take ugly wins all day everyday as long as we win the chip.

I’m prepared for the newly crowned flop king in a series. Just when I thought we had gotten rid of having to play Harden in the playoffs, we get dealt the Luka Flopcic show. Yay.

Hoping for a sweep.

Must capitalize now that we have home court advantage. Win the first 2 and hope to steal atleast a game in Dallas.

We have to execute our offense. Don't get sucked into isolation just because they're switching. Make Luka a scorer and make him get 50 or 60. Stay home on their shooters. Defenders are really going to have to work to help and recover. I think we end the game with Curry, Klay, Wiggins, OPJ, Dray.

This is a trap game for one of these teams.
This movie is like the Rocky Horror Picture Show where everyone knows all the lines.

Sucks not having GPII to cover Brunson. The defensive matchup there worries me a little. We'll be seeing Luka post up all night long and not just on Steph. Hopefully, Wiggins is ready for the pounding he's going to take tonight. The Dubs are favored by 5 1/2. I'd be very surprised if they don't cover.

Just make luka run. Wear him out and play the long game.

When hes tired, he'll get lazier on defense and will resort to contested jumpers.

If Looney is starting and the Mavs run out their usual starting 5 from last series (Brunson/Bullock/DFS/Luka/Powell), then I think Dray has to start on Luka. I suppose you could put him on DFS but that's going to take him out on the perimeter and make his ability to QB the defense tougher.

I think the plan is going to be a 50/50 split of Wiggins/Dray on Luka, to try and minimize foul trouble and see which matchup works best for us. Then as the series goes on, we lean towards the favorable matchup

Give me a reason to hate you Luka, I dare ya!

It will be tough taking down the 96 Bulls tonight. Like all the podcasts have said, this Mavs team is unbeatable and the worst matchup of all time for the warriors.

Warriors win both at home IMO. Talk to you guys after the game. Or during if I hate myself and want to read overreactions.

Brunson is the X-factor in this series. He gets easy buckets by getting into the lane easy, it'll put pressure on us, need to keep him outta the lane.

We're deploying our standard switch/stay defense, interesting

So far its working on Luka
