Yes trading Wiggins for Sabonis or signing Enes Kanter would change our fortunes, so wise

This just in folks. Sabonis....you know...the 7' all star that averages 20 and 10 with gifted passing and ability to score facing up or on the post.... That guy wouldn't be any help to this team.

Not on defense.

Do poor defenders not do well here or something? Is our defense more like a greater than the sum of its parts style, where a really poor defender can be targeted and abused?

But 20 10 on bad defense? Listen, when you get the chance to trade a great fit and young talent for a David Lee type who has led his teams nowhere, you just gotta do it

Draymond admitted he played terrible.

And while people seem to be excusing Draymond's rebounding, the one everyone is complaining about, he didn't box out time lord, he turned and went to go get the ball rather than put his body into rob. If he boxes rob out the ball drops right to him instead the ball bounces over his head and rob puts his nuts on his head

it's not hard to be better than one of the **** finals performances on a per minute basis we've EVER seen at this point.

he'll tell you more about it on his pod tho.

Yeah it didn't seem like anyone was boxing out. Players were just ball watching.

There were alot of long rebounds, but we used to find a way to get to those, especially loon, curry, and wiggs (again they were our best rebounders last night).

Feel like so many times the ball bounced in front of klay and a boston player beat him to the ball. Klay was just so slow to the ball.

I think we may need to play loon more minutes if Draymond is playing like poop.

Poole was guilty of that too.

TBF, we shouldnt expect Klay to rebound. He never has, and because its a BBIQ thing, he likely never will. On 3 separate occasions he was under the rim when a Boston shot went up, meaning the only way he was getting the rebound is if it went through the hoop. That's a problem... and I apologize in advance if thats too rude

So,
Curry, Wiggins, Thompson, Looney

Are the best players until now.
Poole cannot play against Celtics defense.
Draymond is in a bad period.
Maybe OPJ should take more minutes at pf position.

Curry
Wiggins
Thompson
OPJ
Looney

May provide better offense as a lineup and more spacing.
I wonder if OPJ could guard a little bit Tatum and Wiggins guards Brown.
But ok maybe Draymond will find a better form in the next games.

Watching that play where curry got hurt. A missed boxout causes the scrum. Curry doesn't get a body on Smart so smart dives in and gets the ball and it squirts loose.

Think that's the game plan next game is to get a body on a body

Obviously if Steph is legit hurt we are essentially done.

However, reading everything outside of the Steph injury (mostly just an intense hatred for Draymond lol) you'd think we just lost the play-in game and our season ended. And the thing is, I do agree with a lot of it, but not with the level of doom and gloom that seems to be going around.

The reality is, we can win game 4 and be right back in the drivers seat. It's going to take an incredible effort, but its doable. Team just has to find a way to match the effort and physicality of the Celtics.

I think we need to figure out a way to make them pay for playing Robert Williams because he's making it impossible to score in the paint. Poole has shown that he can take him 1on1... and if we can spam forcing him into switches on Poole it will make Boston have to adjust and take him off the floor. Otherwise we're going to be stuck taking 3's & mid range shots all game with nothing easy.

Also did they stop the rule you can't jump into the defender to draw fts? Tatum started the 4th drawing a shooting foul like that

Just re-watched the 4th and we were not methodical at all. We ran way too much offense and were just scrambled the entire 4th. They went away from the pick and roll after Curry turned it over at the beginning of the quarter even though Curry was the only one making shots.

this is part of the reason why Curry can't play the entire 4th. We should be letting him cook and he can't do it for the entire quarter.

This is far fetched...maybe a massive stretch but....

Is it possible that the Warrior EXPECTED Boston (based on coming out big every game after a loss) to play their hardest in gme 3....so...

Kerr and the Warriors decided to target game 4, intentionally resting GP2 and IGGY and others knowing that game 4 would be on a quick turnaround so Warriors would be the fresher team???

If you look at the lack of intensity by the team....short minutes for Otto, Iggy, GP2....it feels like Warriors didn't believe game three was the right game to go all out.

Boston get's their come back win....likely softer and a bit tired on Friday...and Warriors ratchet it up to steal game 4 and head back to the bay tied 2-2.

Dreaming?

Yes, dreaming. They want to win every game they play.

I think we need to live with them making semi contested 3s so we can contain dribble penetration. We just can't let them be completely open

Was just looking at the paint numbers.

Poole, klay, and curry are getting obliterated. They are getting nothing in the paint.

Wiggs hasnt seen any dip, the celtics frontcourt doesnt seem to be bothering him. Hes actually increased his paint points.

Poole was like 70% coming into the series and is shooting 40% in the finals.
Klay was like 65+% coming into the series and is shooting 20% in the finals.
Steph was like 60% coming into the series and is shooting 30% in the finals.

Offense has become overly reliant on the 3 ball.
