Right...so why don't we just defend the 3? You can still hard double when they're ready to shoot, but this team can't create. They have no PG.Their whole strategy is drive and kick.
That’s exactly the strategy we have deployed since Game 1. And it worked so damn beautifully. I was so damn proud of our defense running at every 3 BEFORE they started their jump shot motion and not just during or after.
I said it all series since Game 1…all they have is the 3, which goes against a team with their size at the guards as Tatum & Brown should be dominant in the paint. Tatum does not do well in the paint. Puts his head down, rarely kicks it out, takes contested fade-away jumpers and places his hopes on getting fouled.
