He did look really solid against Portland. His defensive profile in particular fits the Warriors very well ā€“ strong, smart, physical and long, which allows him to play bigger than he is and be more of a deterrence on the interior. Not unlike a certain Draymond Green, although of course at a much lower level. Not fully sure if that was just a flash in the pan or real, though.

That being said, it's incredibly tough for anyone to take the 15th roster spot.

Hence the hot take. We wonā€™t carry 15. However, I do think he could steal a 2 way. Realistically, we prob try and sign him to our g league team.

Without knowing how contracts play into it, I like Spoon over Jerome.

Weatherspoon surprised me; between last year and this preseason I thought he had done enough to hold one of those 2-way spots. Amongst the group of Jerome, Robinson, Spencer and Lamb, two of them must have made a very positive impression on Kerr. My guess is Lamb will snag one of those spots.

We have enough guards what we need is more 6ā€™6-6ā€™9 wings. Someone who can defend and hit a 3. Thatā€™s it.

Lamb is taking one of those two ways.

How does Lamb get a two way but Trevion gets waived. Not happening.

Iā€™d have loved for him to get a 2way but it clearly didnā€™t happen. They already moved on. We have two open spots. Lamb fits the bill for what their looking for. Idk about the other spot.

Steph Curry wins his 3rd MVP this season.

Warriors will be overall more improved and healthy which means Steph will play more efficiently, but the Warriors will not be too dominant to where Steph sits constant 4th quarters like in 2016, meaning Steph will be playing efficient full games that sustain his PPG while maintaining his high percentages.

I went to the game against Portland, and I agree. Lamb looks & plays big & strong. Seemed like they were intentionally using him as the go-to guy against bigger players. He looked good doing it.

I've heard that Kerr sees some Shawn Marion in Moody's game.

For some reason, he reminds me of Trevor Ariza a little.

Great call. He moves around just like Dudley. They move kind of lumbering and awkward, but really strong and just agile enough to get by... while also playing with a lot of effort and hustle and bball IQ.

Interesting. Will be fun to see how Moody develops.

To me, Jae from college to pros always looked and played like a PF that can guard on perimeter. Whereas Moody reminds me of a long/strong all around guard in the Wes Mathews mold.

Yea, maybe a cross between those 2. His potential is definitely capped as a 3 & D guy though because he doesn't really have a whole lot of playmaking chops. When he tries doing his own thing with the ball it usually ends badly.

Due to the depth and load management only Curry gets any individual accolades (All-Star; 3rd team All-NBA)

Focusing on development and load management
GS is an up and down 4th 5th seed but they put it all together due to a rested Curry, fully recovered Thompson and an angry focused Green who didn't get an extension.
