Re: Hot Takes Thread
This time last year, I think I had the Dubs coming in at around 46-48 wins.. and 5-6th seed.
Clearly they surpassed that.
Arguably, they are much deeper this season. Especially if the youth all develops. Our second unit has the potential to be scary.
Highest scoring total for a second unit.
JP 6th man of the year. Dray DPOY. Steph MVP. Wiseman Most Improved.

Don't sweat it. Unless it ends up in someone's signature, you've got nothing to be ashamed of.

By season's end Curry/Klay/Wiggins/Kuminga/Dray will be our closing lineup, and it will be devastating.

Melo and amare should thrive in this offense. If Jeremy Tyler and cole Aldridge looked that good in summer league then us knick fans have a lot to be excited about. Make room for all the bandwagoners when we take off

Re: Hot Takes Thread
I'd be happy with Wiseman getting a few votes for MIP.
Also, looking at my 1st post here, I'd take it back that JAM would play little... in the preseason he seemed very much fit & active, I think he will do well this season. Watching Denver games last season I was under the impression he was started getting over the hill.

Moody looked super confident last night. I take this back and my new hot take is Moody will have the same amount of BDE as Bob Myers by the end of the year.

Wiseman is going to be like rookie Wiseman. He is going to have just enough scoring to keep hope alive, but basically suck. PBJ and Trevion Williams are better. It's not worth it to try to develop Wiseman at the cost of the big threes last hurrah. And this is coming from someone who is all in on the "dual timelines" approach that Bob is taking. Trade him for a future pick. A very late 1st is fine. Why am I down on Wiseman: he cannot rebound. He is never going to rebound. He is doomed at the nba level.
Nailing this so hard.
Solid gold.

im still in the 'it's fine' area unless Kerr takes another 20 games to make some pretty obvious rotation changes.

Trade Dray, Klay, Wiggs and Poole. Play the young guys w/ Steph every day. Draft Wemby. Win the next 3 chips. Profit.

We’ll start seeing Kuminga Lamb Wiseman lineups.

My Hot Take: Moody traded by Christmas.
I will post reasons why I think this later. Right now it’s too sickening to ponder.
No info, just my gut.
I also expect they’ll realize it was a horrible mistake by March.

No clue. I don’t know who is in the market for potential v. immediate. With Moody the rationale would be lateral trade for someone at a more needed position. I disagree with that idea, but that would be their thought process,Big J wrote:What about Wiseman?

I like Moody but I was hoping they would draft Trey Murphy III. I don't think Moses gets much in return so I doubt he gets moved unless it's for a like player who is a vet and more ready to contribute or if he is part of a larger deal which I don't see happening.

Too sickening to ponder, but just your gut feeling? Oddly worded I must say.
I don’t think anyone would be surprised if they traded Moody.
