Sad thinking back, on the Sixers not being able to make it work with Jimmy. They could have had a fun stretch of years.
This movie is like the Rocky Horror Picture Show where everyone knows all the lines.

That was an all-time performance today. One of the best individual performnces I've ever seen.

Jimmy was absolutely balling. Incredible performance.

Crazy to think Embiid hasn't made it out of the 2nd round while Jimmy has taken the heat to the finals.

I'm really hoping for the grizz to tie it up here. Fighting for their dynasty lives before it even begins

Memphis hanging tough. Go Grizzlies, we want 7 games.

Not even sure who I would rather play should we advance. Think the Lakers have a tougher roster to play, with that being said we would also have homecourt advantage. So I guess I would rather play the Lakers, take the first two and hope they roll over.

Think Schroeder though is probably a better Steph Curry defender than anyone Memphis has.

JJJ is crazy defensively. He covers so much ground and protects the rim. That's why I want Lively

They suck though zero offense. JA makes them worse almost. Mem would have Hca on us and Lakers are better team..

I'd rather play the grizz if the dubs get by the kings.

With clarke and Adam's out, there isn't a big size discrepancy. With ja playing, it will be similar to dealing with fox.

Lakers have the match up advantage as well as silver and the refs in their back pockets which negates homecourt advantage.

that lakers team is really scary, you got Lebron and AD, shape shooting in Reeve DLo and Hachimura then defense and depth in Vanderbilt and Schröder. if we can get past the kings..lakers will be difficult and we cant even play a lot of guards due to size.

IF Warriors someone win the King's series (big huge giant IF) I wonder how Steph and the Warriors would match up with the big LeBron lead Lakers? First things first, I guess.

They have a huge size advantage on us. Davis would be so hard to deal with.

LeBron is way slower and less athletic at this point in his career, like 5x in that 4th quarter they cleared out and he could not take Tillman a slow footed center off the dribble. The shot to go into overtime he had to arch it so high just to get a layup. I really think at this stage Wiggins would shut him down, Green could lock him up as well.

To me it seems like the overall collection carries LeBron a bit, not the other way around.

playoff jimmy bucket. what a game from him.
franchise record points in the playoffs.
and then what about robinson? he's been playing hide and seek all year long just to become the best playoffs 3 point shooter ever? he's like 13/17 (76%) in the series so far :o absurd.

Super excited to see this thread! I watch all of the games but the general board is chaos. I'd much rather discuss here, with posters I am familiar with.

Butler was downright incredible today. That was a "text your friends" game - I was telling everybody I know who likes hoops to tune in if they could. Wow. Would trade almost anything short of Curry for that guy. Give me a Jimmy Butler any day.

The Lakers also just wouldn't go away. You kept waiting for Memphis to finally take control and they never could. Our favorite guy DLo hit some big shots for them down the stretch. This Lakers team is formidable. I doubt they win the title but they could make a little noise.

I wonder sometimes about +/-. I thought Schröder had an awful 4th quarter but he finished with a +24? I'd have to rewatch the game to understand that one.

Melo and amare should thrive in this offense. If Jeremy Tyler and cole Aldridge looked that good in summer league then us knick fans have a lot to be excited about. Make room for all the bandwagoners when we take off

Sometimes the +/- isn't about doing anything good, but by doing nothing bad and not getting in the way of the other 4.
