Not by any means, there certainly will be game 6 and I can bet anything and anyone on that.
Why? This series is the most watched series since 2011 as far as the ratings are concerned. Didn't anyone see that little tidbit?

Why it's Lakers turn to get another 20+ at the charity stripe, like they got in game 1.

You think they won't rig it at Chase?

They wont/cant.. its going 7. What happens in G7 is up to the players to show up.

Kerr should get some courage and rip the officiating.

Kerr is too smart to fall into that trap. He knows what's up. During the first quarter of Game 4, the broadcasters openly discussed "conspiracy theories" surrounding the big disparity in foul calls and free throws. For whatever reason, the NBA has decided that what you're watching during this series is the style of play they want. No flow. No rhythm. Lots of whistles. A lot of subjective officiating getting in the way of the game itself.

So Phil Jackson was stupid? Phil called out the officiating all the time and took fines for it. He'd do it even if he didn't believe it to take the heat off his team and to get calls. Last I checked Phil won how many rings?

In Lakers' 3 wins in the series, they are +51 in FTAs.

IN the two losses, they're just +1.

So in game 6 what will it be? Probably at least +15, even if AD doesn't play.

Ham and Lebron went to some pains to claim they never flop. So every time there's contact, AD has been grabbing his face. Other Lakers who fall stay on the floor.

Reaves flopped on a Wiggins post up in the fourth quarter, there was no call either way.

The Ringer NBA podcast guys noted that Lakers scored 52 points in the paint vs. 50 for the Warriors in game 5.

Yet they had the lowest FTAs in the series, just 15 attempts, same as Warriors.

They think refs were influenced by Warriors home crowd.

As opposed to influenced by the league who wanted at least a game 6 in this series?

But this is the Lakers' redemption tour, there's more talk about them winning the ring now.

So Lakers and the media now expect Lakers to get more FTAs in game 6, even before it's started and we know for certain whether AD is going to play.

Warriors only hope is Lakers and ESPN/ABC get desperate for a game 7 to get more ratings and keep the officiating more level.

the league should want game 7. No games on the weekend would be rough for them. Game 7 on a Sunday, doesn't get much better for them ratings wise.

Maybe the Lakers take more free throws because AD and Lebron are two freak tanks?

Right and Austin Reaves gets more FTs than Curry too because he's also an all-time great.

Then Schroeder too.

It's on the refs.

If they want to call it like regular season game, it'll help the lakers.

If they want to call it like playoff game and let it get physical, it'll help the dubs.

Warriors averaged 25.1 FTAs vs. the Kings, 13.2 vs. the Lakers.

Curry and Green are averaging 2.2 FTAs in the series, Wiggins is averaging 3.

Pretty sure Curry is attempting more shots in the paint than Wiggins has.

Lakers are averaging 23.6 FTAs in the series. As one would expect, AD and LBJ are #1 and #2 in FTAs, at 5.8 and 4.2.

Curry's 2.2 FTAs would be only #6 on the Lakers. Schroeder, playing fewer minutes, is averaging 3.6, almost double Curry. Reaves is averaging 2.6.

But you know, Curry is just a jump shooter! He doesn't get knocked down taking those 3s either!

Curry averaged 5.9 FTA in the Kings series, Wiggins average 4.0 and Green averaged 3.7. Oh and Poole averaged 4.3.

Lakers are SO GOOD, they limit Curry to just 1/3 the FTAs that he got vs. the Kings. Somehow, they not only not foul Curry but cut down his scoring average too.

Yes. Even the "analysis" saying "we went into the paint as much as they did omgwtfbbq" are ignoring the different between AD backing people down to dunk and Poole taking it 1 on 3 at 110 mph while he's tripping over his own shoelaces.

How about Curry getting bumped on drives all the time?

Or Wiggins?

They can't even get the same consideration as Schroeder or Reaves.

That's right! Curry and Wiggins and any other Warrior doesn't deserve to get calls over Schroeder or Reaves!

There was some interesting sideline reporting during the second quarter of last night's game. Zach Zerba is reported to have told Draymond "You need to stop talking." To which Draymond responded "I will not stop. You can't single me out. Everyone out here is talking. T me up if you want."

Part of what the refs have done is play style rather than the refs trying to get LeBron to the finals.

Curry, Klay and Poole try to hit their shots more than they try and o draw the foul.

I hate guys that just jump into the defender expecting the refs to give them the call. I would give no-calls to ties on block charges rather than always giving the offensive player the call and that would reduce the jumping into the defenders play.

Warriors were outplayed in game 6 to lose the series to the Lakers.

But what do you know, the Lakers got 28 more free throw attempts, outscored the Warriors by 21 points on FTs.

The final score was 122-101.

In every Lakers win, they were about 20 more FTs than the Warriors, outscored the Warriors by that much.

AD and LB never in foul trouble.

Prediction for the WCF, Jokic, Gordon and Murray will more likely be in foul trouble than AD or LBJ.

Lakers will still get more FTs than the Nuggets, even though they have one of the best low-post players in the game.

Maybe the NBA won't be so blatant about it, gift the Lakers 20 points for the opponents to overcome.

Jokic is the easiest player to take out in the league because he's so big and integral to everything they do. Refs give him 2 quick ones.. hes out and the Lakers are on a run. Nuggets have no chance

Yup. Hopefully OP had money on the line. Honestly though, the Great Warrior Hosing pre-dated the Lakers series. The fouls and free throws disparity was something I pointed out after the first dozen or so games of the season. Folks said things would even out. That never happened. I have no idea what the League is thinking. During the Lakers series, even the broadcasters mentioned "free throw disparity" and "conspiracy theory" in the same sentence. Whatever the case, it made for difficult to watch basketball.
