Shop Poole/Kuminga for a different combo guard. Or just Kuminga, since its unlikely a team would trade a good combo guard for Jordan Poole at this point
Sign a stretch 5
Give Moody the clear 6th man role and the 25 minutes that come with it
Give PBJ a legit chance at being the backup 5 and commit to it

No major changes.

Use Wiseman trade exception and a 1st round pick on a fast leaping back up center. Also sign Tacko Fall.

Let JMG go. Donte will go and get paid by some other team.

Let Iguodala retire.
Sign a G-league point guard faster than Payton who can stop opposing point guards from dribbling.

If Moody plays poorly cut him in January.
Bring back Ty Jerome on 2 way and bring back Lamb. Hope Kuminga can take a step forward.

Maybe Baldwin plays some.

Stay healthy.
Start the season playing better ball than this year.
Win the 2024 championship.

Troll Poole bashers.

Players I want to keep:
Curry
Looney
Wiggins
Moody
GP2

Players I am on the fence about:
Kuminga
Poole
PBJ
DDV (but will probably opt out, cannot afford him)

Players I cannot watch anymore:
Draymond
Klay

Players I don't care about:
Iguodala (he's a coach anyways)
Lamb
Rollins
JMG

Draft lively. Trade jp and jk for og. We’ll need to bring in another play creator.

Steph/Rollins
Klay/quinnoes
Wiggins
Og/moody/pbj
Looney/dray/lively
Most 4th Quarter Points in Final since 1991
1995 Shaquille O'Neal 11.5
2000 Shaquille O'Neal 11.5 (61.1% TS)
2015 Stephen Curry 10.8 (75.1% TS)
1997 Michael Jordan 10.7 (55.1% TS)
1998 Michael Jordan 10.6 (50.6% TS)
2011 Dirk Nowitzki 10.3 (68.0% TS)

With the reports of running back the core 3 (steph, klay, and dray), we need trades.

Order of assets:

1. Wiggins
2. Loon
3. Joku
4. Moody
5. 1st round pick
6. Poole
7. Pbj

Jmg, iggy, lamb, and ddv are gone.

That's what Myers (if he stays) has to work with.

What I think will happen (not what I want to happen), due mainly to 2 factors: Curry's say in team building, and our financial situation going forward

- Let Donte, Iguodala, JaMychal, Lamb, Jerome go
- Give their minutes to Moody, Kuminga, a bit to PBJ and Rollins
- Perhaps a Poole trade for a guard + a big
- Draft a big with pick 19 (Kerr won't play him anyway)

I'm not so sure on a Poole trade happening as many here think it would. I'll wait more weeks to get a better handle on that.

What we really need is for Kerr to adapt his system to better involve our young talent. A more diverse playbook, sub patterns, in-game adjustments via matchups, etc. We need to have a more inside game, not a focus per se... but ours is basically zero.

Kinda like what Pop did in the last Spurs champ. Very hard to happen via retrospect, though. Kerr is his best enemy.

I don't think there will be drastic changes this off-season, unfortunately. They will "ride or die" until the wheels fall off.

Keep Curry/Wiggins and everything thing else should be on the table from the roster to the coaches to the FO.

I really hope that if Draymond opts in that it is to trade him to another team.

Warriors have to not extend Thompson and Green.

They are 33yo and already declined (Green remains good but he is 33yo).

All the other moves are acceptable for the right price

I have infinitely more hope for PBJ than Kuminga for the rest of the Curry era.. deal Kuminga while you still can get value for him. Not his fault at all, but there's no point in keeping him now. The picks of Wiseman and Kuminga, hoping that they grew into high BBIQ players, has really set us back. So get a MLE-level player for Kuminga at a position of need (F/C if you dont believe in PBJ, G if you trade Jordan Poole)

It really starts at the top. On who gets power in decision making. Who to bring in to make decisions. The existing brain trust is imbalanced. They probably read this board for ideas, that’s how unoriginal they are.

How competitive were they with him this year?

There is already a story that he and the team have mutual interest in working out a long term deal. I think that's a mistake.

I think if you want to move on, shipping out Draymond will be necessary. Draymond has been a tremendous plus over the years but it has gotten harder to overlook the number of times he's caused big problems for the team.

Even with all his warts, he's still is and has been the best defensive player on this team. His chemistry with strph on offense and wiggs on defense can't be replaced. By anyone.

disagree, you keep Dray if it's reasonable (~20 per)...otherwise the only one that needs to be shipped the **** out is JP, and stat. you're probably going to have to package him with Kuminga to make it happen tho.

To me, dray isn't a floor raiser. He's not going to carry a team. He's a ceiling raiser that amplifies the players around him.
