Game 48, Warriors at 76ers, no Embiid
@ Philadelphia 4:30 Pacific
Wednesday Feb 7th
No Embiid, out for at least 4 weeks.
Sometimes teams play well in their first game without their star because they are trying to prove to themselves that they are more than just their star.
76ers are 1 and 6 in their last 7 games.
Warriors are 4 and 3 in their last 7 games.
76ers are 4 and 11 without Embiid this year.
76ers will probably also be without Melton, Baum, and Covington.
Warriors will be Without CP3 and Payton
Draymond and Wiggins are Day to Day and might miss the game so Kuminga may need to play 96 minutes. Maybe we will spot Garuba. Maybe some Trayce at power forward. Dray and Wiggins will be game time decisions and will not be entirely healthy if they do play.
Klay will play. Stop your crying children.

Re: Game 48, Warriors at 76ers, no Embiid
gotta learn to read a calendar.. i thought this game was post-deadline.
Would expect Dray to sit out though, knee contusions that go on for several weeks tend to get worse the more you play on them. Wiggins has the same thing so expecting the same thing
Perfect time to try it with Kerr heaping praise on Gui Santos. I would expect him to get a lot of run.. he's a bit of a wildcard so will be an adventure. But so far every time Gui has a couple good games (GL), he follows it up with a humbling one. So we'll see

Looking forward to watching a Warriors loss while Moody plays 14 minutes.
I was right about 3 point shooting. I expect to be right about Tacko Fall. Some coach will figure out how to use Tacko Fall. This movement towards undersized centers will sweep ng back. Back to the basket scorers will return to the NBA.

I'm very superstitious.
Dubs are 2-0 this season when I make the game thread. Just saying...

I kinda hope he sits for this one. Playing him with a knee contusion seems more like a showcase, "hey hes healthy!"
But we'll see. I'm gearing up for a bad trade deadline.. I'm at the point where I'm just hoping they dont screw it up more than anything. The Twardzik/Mully years... and MDJ has done nothing to deserve it. But I'm getting the vibe that its not his call at all

The Dubs really need this one to get closer to .500 before the schedule gets a little daunting if they have any chance of making the play-in.

You cant have jk and klay together on the defensive end. B2b plays where they don't get a rebound.
