This is why I dont get excited about wins anymore.. its not indicative of anything. The team won historically, not because of our offense, but because of defense. That gets lost in the shuffle because 2 guys, Steph/Klay (and for a while, KD) provide 3-5 players' worth of offense, and because of that they could get play defense only guys for long stretches, something other teams couldnt do

Now Kerr is leaning on old, smaller guys to keep up offensively, but these guys have no defensive upside. The likely smart move would be leaning on the younger guys, who can keep up defensively, but have to realize any potential offensive upside. We dont know if they can, or if they'd develop with PT, because Kerr is going for the route he always claimed he wasn't - chasing empty wins

He's not chasing wins though. He's chasing contracts for vets. Playing klay and cp down the stretch of games is not chasing wins. He satisfies egos and enables them bigger contracts since they're in a contract year.

Though to be fair cp3 only played 18 min in this last game and Klay was hitting shots.

This game showed that while the Lakers are still an inferior team. They are still slightly better than the Warriors with both sides healthy. It will be difficult to beat them in the playin with Kerr’s usual tactics. I would bet the Warriors to lose if Kerr runs the same BS he has. They have to get to 7th or 8th spot or they will be out.

This is kerr we are talking about, I didn't feel the need to mention moody.

If this is Kerr we are talking about, we don’t even need to discuss anything because we already know what he’s going to do. He’s going to play the current starting lineup. Lebron won’t treat the playin game like a regular season game, will attack all game like the 4th quarter, Kerr will still stick to his rotations, including his 3g lineup, team will be down double digits, in an act of desperation he will bring out Moody after not playing him the whole season, too little too late, team gets bounced, Kerr gives his usual sound bites at the postgame press conference, real gm gets disgruntled for a week, and then off to discussing the draft and summer league.

My only hope is they are playing 3D chess and are so confident that they are positioning for the Thunder. They should play Moody though. From the times he played, his level of impact is about Podz level and he’s a third year player losing all minutes to first year players. He might as well do a JK and force his way. He’s only got a year left on his contract and I know he can help a team. This is some really messed up stuff going on. If it was any other player than Moody the locker room would be disgruntled.

Kerr has been a step too late giving consistent minutes to JK and moving Klay to the bench and finally playing Saric limited minutes. He’s always exhaust all failure before making a move.
