Dubs at Pistons

Post#1 » by Crazy-Canuck » Fri Jan 10, 2025 12:20 am

No wiggins, expecting birth of son.

But it takes an absence for kerr to rear end his way into something smart.

Extended minutes for steph, heild, and dray. We should be able to cook even with Schroeder and tjd.

Take Schroeder out, and our offense is so smooth and play with pace. Just so obvious.

Buddy really opens up the paint. A lot of dunks for us. Now if we can just hit some 3s

At least Kerr seems to be tying them together.

Schroeder has Beef Stew on him, decides to shoot a 28ft 3! I can’t stand Dennis…. Makes me eyeballs sore.

When Cade is on the bench, the Pistons run a Rec League offensive set. Makes our defence look proficient.

I hope Kerr learns from this game to play buddy and Steph together. We’re getting great shots when they’re on the court together.

I really hope we move him at the deadline especially if Kerr continues to start him.

We should start a “We have a Santos problem” thread. He moves the ball quickly. Has good form on his jump shot. Goes hard at offensive boards and he tries hard.

Its not just starting.. its playing with Steph. Can't do it. We knew that long ago though... even the genius that was Monta Ellis knew it. Ball-dominant non-shooter guards dont mix well with Steph

And we're running a ball-dominant, non-shooting PG in a motion offense for like 20 minutes a game. Its akin to having Klay Thompson be primary decision maker

Once again, bench unit looks solid with mostly halfcourt guys + Dray

Love hearing all the excuse making by Fitz/Buke for TJD dropping passes, rolling softly.. especially loved when Dray saved him defensively and they gave TJD the credit

TJD really does snatch at the ball when it’s passed to him. Unless it’s a lob. (The turnover with Green wasn’t on him though)
